My experience with piercing started for me two years ago at the age of 70 , on surfing the internet I got onto the BME site and was fascinated by all the different experiences and photos of genital piercing ,an area I never thought I would be drawn into !! wrong , once I entered this world I was hooked . My first ever piercing was a PA , then the next , a hafadas ladder ( four ) and the last being a Ampallang and this is the story of that Ampallang piercing .

I have always gone by a saying " just do it " and yes I decided to "just do it " and at 72 you don`t put things off !!! I have had all my piercing done at "The Piercing Urge " Melbourne Australia , they are very professional operators so I went ahead and made an appointment for the following week . I had already spoken to Pete ( the guy who was to do the piercing ) a few weeks early about a Ampallang piercing and he filled me in on what to expect other than the actual pain of the piercing being done ,eg .at least three months healing , soreness and some discomfort for some time , this made me have further thoughts about going ahead with it although deep deep down I new I would have it done.
I arrived at the piercing studio on the due day of the appointment feeling quite relaxed which did surprised me , Pete and his assistant Todd were ready for me , I filled out the necessary paper work , I then asked about what size jewellery they would be fitting ? Todd told me the only size they fitted for a ampallang piercing first up was 12 gauge and that I could have a larger gauge fitted once the pierce had healed . I accepted this and we then went into the procedure room were I had been three or four times before ,it is so very very clean which makes me feel so very very comfortable . I dropped my shorts and jocks and then Pete proceeded to marked my most prized procession to where he was going to push a large needle through !!!!!! taking some time to make sure its position was perfect . He cleaned the area to be pierced and then on went the clamp , it took a few minutes to position the clamp correctly but once in place I did not find it all uncomfortable .At this stage I felt quite relaxed which on reflection did amaze me , Pete then said are you ready , my reply , yes , he then said take a deep breath and slowly let it out , then , oh fuck ,fuck ,fuck and it was all over , the pain was certainly intense but only lasted about three seconds or three fucks !!! then the 12 gauge jewellery was fitted , I then had a look at my new adornment , terrific ,then my dick was wrapped in a tissue with a rubber band to hold the tissue on in case of bleeding, I paid and tipped for a job well done and I left feeling a very happy guy .
I could hardly wait to get home and have a good look at my very own Ampallang , looks great , there was slight bleeding the first night so I left the tissue on but by the next day the bleeding had stopped , I was quite surprised at so little bleeding and "no " and I mean " no " pain , in fact my PA and Hafadas piercing were of much more discomfort .
I did salt soaks three times a day for the first three weeks and now do them twice a day and will continue this until I am satisfied all is healed .
I intend having a larger gauge jewellery fitted once the pierce is completely healed .
I can only conclude that it certainly was not as traumatic as I anticipated in fact it was slightly anti climax but don't get me wrong , I love it and would do it all again , my only wish being I had done it two years ago when this piercing addiction started with me .
On conclusion the BME and IAM sites have opened my eyes to a whole different world , and what a world ! I am sorry I found this new world so late in life but never mind a least I have found it and can enjoy it
