I'm a 15 year old boy, and have been into body modding for quite a few years now. My parents hate all body mods though, and won't even let me get anything pierced. All i have done to my body, I've done by myself, in secret. I have pierced, branded and cut nearly all places on my body which are covered by clothes. I had done penis piercing before, but only through my foreskin, never through the glans or shaft.

If you were to, it would have a 90% infection rate, which is the reason why I have never left any piercing in for longer than 2 weeks. I often do not sterilise my needles, I never use anaesthetic, i never mark my entrance or exit wounds, I never use the right jewellery (with what i use, often being staples or safety pins) and sometimes don't do the proper aftercare. If i had access to the proper supplies, I'd use them, but I'm underage to buy them, and all my post is checked. But then again, I don't really care. To me, infections are pretty.
Ok, one day I decided that I wanted an ampallang. Not sure why, I just did. And i was going to do it that night. I had safety pins, paper towels, alcohol, and i decided on getting some ice water, to ensure that I didn't get an erection. That night, I gave myself an erection, and noticed I didn't have a safety pin wide enough. So I unrolled one so it was one long pin.
I got the ice water, put it in a jar and then immersed my penis in the jar to halfway up the shaft. I stayed like that for about 2 or three minutes. When I took it out, my penis was considerably cold, and i could still feel it. I then lit a candle, took my pin, and put it in the candle until it glowed red. I did this in attempt to sterilise it. After allowing it to cool and ensuring my penis was still cold, I dipped it in alcohol, squeezed the head between my fingers, and forced the pin in the right hand side.
It didn't hurt. I felt a slight stinging sensation as it went through the outer layer (which took some effort as my penis was very flexible), and after that, it just felt uncomfortable. I pushed the needle deeper and deeper in, feeling it rip through each layer. By this time, the adrenaline running through me was amazing. (I'm still buzzing from it 3 days later) It went in fairly easy until I came to what must have been the urethra. As I had made the pin glow before, it was much softer, and no matter how i tried to force it through, all it did was bend.
After 10 minutes of pushing and 3 massive kinks in the pin, I decided that it wasn't going to go in and began to pull it out. After removing it, it started to bleed almost instantly. And it bled, a lot. It took me well over 20 minutes to stop the bleeding by which time, I had 23 bloody paper towels and a small puddle. (I have a laminated wooden bedroom floor) It didn't help that I got an erection shortly afterwards. I'm amazed I didn't pass out. I lost well over a pint.
After cleaning up the blood, I was so frustrated with it having failed, that I forced 3 un-sterilised safety pins though my foreskin, and 4 though my left arm. They stopped the frustration a little. I then decided it was time to go to bed. When in bed, I took out all my arm piercing and 2 of my foreskin piercing, as they kept catching on my bedding.
I did that on the Thursday evening. Its now midnight after the next Saturday and I still have the one in my foreskin in. When walking around school, it was very uncomfortable, although that can be partially accounted for by the safety pin. When I'm sat still, its not very uncomfortable, and there's just a small red spot now. Its not really hurt at all, apart from when a friend jumped into me which forced the safety pin at the wound, but I guess it was deserved as I'd insulted her. The resulting yelp amused her also.
I have to say though, that although it failed, it was one of the most enjoyable body modding experiences I have ever had. I'm still on a high and I've decided to try it again as soon as i can't feel it. I recommend an ampallang to anybody who wants adrenaline, although I say to use the proper equipment or get it professionally done.
