This is the story of my second piercing. I am realizing now that I have a habit of deciding to get piercings I dislike a month before I get them. My first piercing actually ended up being the one I wanted which was a Prince Albert (this one ended up being the one I expected because I didn't know much about genital piercings at that time). Ampallangs did not appeal to me at all, until I became a member of BME and looked at them for a while.
At A Glance Author John Contact jchansey113@hotmail.com When A month ago Artist Rose Studio Miraculous Creations Location Worcester, MA After deciding that I wanted a 10G transurethral one I started emailing the piercing studio where I got my PA done. Rose the owner and the person who pierced my PA was very helpful. We sent emails back and forth for a few weeks until I finally set up an appointment to get it done at the same time as my friend who was going to get a PA.
If you haven't dealt with it before do not try and go and get a piercing you have been waiting for with your undependable friend that you have to lock in a box to make sure he does something. Needless to say I made two different appointments (Rose had a family emergency the day of the first appointment and couldn't be there) and he missed both of them so I ended up getting pierced solo.
For the piercing I decided on a 10G barbell. Rose gave me the choice of being pierced w/ a 10G needle that had the barbell hooked on so they would do a pull the needle through then the barbell or I could be pierced with a 8G needle and the jewelry would just sit inside the needle so when the needle was out I would be done. Because as I noticed with the PA the feeling of sliding metal is one of the more painful things about a piercing I decided to be pierced with the 8G needle.
Pain wise man it hurt. I knew I was going to be in for some pain when she put on the clamp and I thought to myself "Geez this is painful hurry up and pierce me so I can get this damn thing off." I was almost glad I did not have my friend there with me because I can just figure I looked like a terrible wuss.
While it hurt like a bitch getting pierced much like the PA after Rose cleaned up the blood and bandaged up the area I didn't feel any pain, which is definitely something I love about piercings.
After getting my aftercare pack and paying I started to walk home. This is important because I was going to have my friend drive me (I do not have a car and do not want to tell very many people that I have any piercings let alone 2 through the head of my penis). I walked home from getting the PA but since I got that piercing the studio moved 5 blocks farther down the street so now its like 35 minute hike.
For all of you people interested in genital piercings I cannot stress enough that they bleed like crazy and you just got to get used to it and deal. The PA showed me that so I was merely amused when I was halfway home and realized that blood was overflowing the bag and was running down my legs. By the time I got within a block of my apartment I had a nice big bloodspot on the front of my shorts (good thing I decided to wear clothes I did not care about for the piercing hehe) and I was very happy that I brought my backpack along with me because I could hold it in front of me to hide the bloodstain from anyone passing by (walking through the park where they were having a boy scouts outing was especially funny).
Despite the bloody start my ampallang had, after that initial craziness, it really did not bleed very much at all. The PA bled for the first 3 days straight. The ampallang was done with most of its hard bleeding the first day.
If anyone is thinking of getting a genital piercing an ampallang is sweet. They are not as common as a PA and they look super cool. Personally the thing I like the most about my ampallang is that when one of those copycat girls without any individual thought says stuff like 'you could never get a piercing' I can just smile, laugh and agree with them. They do not even deserve me telling them the truth that I two piercings and that I have one of, if not the most, painful piercing I could possibly get. It was also funny to show my friend who has 10+ piercings my ampallang and PA and have him comment 'wow its just like one of those pictures on BME".
