Well I am a 29 single straight male living in the London area. I have had an interest in body piercing for about 8 years now. Over the years I have had a PA, Tongue, Navel, Rook and Helix done. All of these have been done professionally.
I don't count piercing your own ears while bored in the science class although I have taken these all out now.

Ever since finding BME around 2½ years ago I have contemplated getting an Ampallang, but it was only about 6 months ago I decided to go ahead and get it done. So why have I waited so long? Well about the time I was going to take the plunge or should I say the needle, some rather drastic changes in my life came up so I had to put it off until now.

The day before........

Well tomorrow is the day, Saturday 24th August 2002 at Cold Steel in Camden Town. Now as with my PA, I did a lot of research in to the Ampallang Piercing using BME as my main point of reference and some of the other web sites available for more information. I thought I would fill you all in with some of the info I found, and you may find useful if you are considering this piercing yourself.

So what did I find out, well guess you will have to read on.

The Ampallang is classed as one most extreme male piercings which is understandable as there is quite a large portion of flesh to go through; well I guess it depends on how big you actually are.

There is no injection given before hand as this is seen as a spiritual act or in other words your Rite of Passage. Also I believe if you are commented enough to have this piercing done, then you do need to experience it fully.

Some of the piercing studio will use clamps to perform this piercing because this squeezes the glands of the penis making the actually procedure a lot quicker, and from what I have read the clamps can be quite painful for some people.
Others will do it freehand I guess this depends on the studio and piercer.

I am uncut (uncircumcised) myself, so again from what I have read the foreskin and glands can become a bit sore during the first few days of the healing process, due to the foreskin not being able to roll completely over the glands.
But I'm sure it will be nothing that I think I can't handle.

You may experience a little swelling, and for a few days after the piercing has been done you may bleed a little. Another person's suggestions was to use ladies sanitary pads, gently wrapped round you manhood, sounds like it may be a good idea to me or to keep a supply of rubber gloves and paper towels.
I have already bought my supplies so I should be ok :)

And last but not least remember to have something sweet to bring your sugar level up before and after, you don't wait to go fainting now, do you? ;)

So how am I feeling with a little over 12 hours to go?
Well actually I feel quite calm and relaxed believe it or not, I guess I am not at all nervous, but maybe once I have my pants round my ankles, I think that will change.

Well ok maybe a little anxiety but then who wouldn't knowing that your going to have a big needle pushed through your manhood in the morning.
Anyway I've thought about it and have decided to drive and park up in work, not too far from there. Then I will get the underground the rest of the way.
Camden Town on a Saturday is always busy don't want to be messing about trying to find somewhere to park.
So let's hope the driving back won't be too hard.

The Experience.....

Well it's now around 15:15, and I am now back at home with my Ampallang very pleased might I add.

So how did it all go, well read on...............................

I arrived in Camden Town at around 11:10, so I had abit of time to kill before my appointment.

I grabbed some glucose sweets and had a wander about for abit; smoked a few cigarettes and then went into Cold Steel.

I was greeted with a friendly face which is always nice.
My piercer Jesse was with his previous client, so I just hung around for a short while shooting the breeze with a couple of the customers.

Well it was now time, no turning back, as if I would. ;)

I made my way upstairs pulled my pants down and laid down on the bench. I have not been pierced by Jesse before, but he soon put my mind at ease and the whole situation was very calming, we discussed positioning and I chatted about this and that, I guess as you just do in that kind of situation.

Once Jesse had finished marking me up he asked me to take a look to make sure I was happy with the positions he had marked. I was, so it was time to do it.

He tipped the bench down so I was laying flat and finished preparing what he needed, he used clamps which really didn't hurt as much as I thought they might, hardly felt them, to be honest I think the adrenaline was starting to kick in.

Then he asked me to start taking deep breaths, 1...... , 2....... 3... BAAM, WOOSH!!!!! I was on Cloud9, I think that's the best way I can describe it.

I felt the needle enter my penis, stop in the middle for a split second as it entered the urethra and then continue its journey out the other side.

I continued taking deep breaths throughout..........

Jesse then explained he was putting the jewellery in, which to be honest I was on such a high I didn't even feel going in.

WOW what a Fucking Rush!!!!!!

The euphoric rush steamed through my body and for some reason went down my arms and stayed in my hands, the only way I can explain it was that my hands were buzzing, strange I know, because I felt very little pain or sensation in my penis where the piercing had been done.

WOW WOW WOW, what a Buzz.................... I lay there after he had finished for what must have been around 5 mins just buzzing, Jesse asked me if I wanted to look, I slowly raised my head up and looked down and my new addition and just looked at him with a big grin and said one word "COOL".

As the buzz slowly left my body, Jesse was in the process of gloving me up, while he did this we carried on chatting and he explained the aftercare.

I sat up and pulled my pants up and sat on sofa in the Studio, while we continued to chat about this and that.

While we was talking I also noticed he had his tongue split which he had done himself and that was another grin and "COOL".

When I was ready I got up and went back downstairs to the reception area.
Jesse followed me down, where of course I left him a tip.

All in all the experience was great, very calm being in good hands it's very hard to explain exactly what I felt, but I have tried my best. Let's just say WOW!!!!
