Well, if there was any one thing that I always want to, but never thought I would do, it was getting

I also have my tongue, eyebrow, ears and nipples pierced but I was very hesitatnt over this particular area for some reason. During the summer I got my first (of many)
tattoos and many more soon followed. I would have been happy to just get more
tattoos, but somehow the idea of piercing my penis got into my head, I suppose it is the level of "shock" and attention it brings. After I thought about it for a little while, I looked at some pictures on the internet and thought it just looked like something I wanted but just was not totally convinced. I then, for the time being,
put the idea out of my head. In some random conversation with a friend, I had mentioned
that I considered it and the friend of mine went on about how she knew of
someone that had quite a few genital piercings and how much he and his girl friend
enjoyed them. It then got me thinking about it a little more. I did a bit more
research and looked at even more pictures, and while they looked
incredibly painful, I liked the way the Ampallang looked, not only that, but
it was also less common and I read that any piercing that went through the
urethra would require insertion of a q-tip dipped in iodine into the urethra.
This could be avoided with an ampallang piercing since I was not too keen on having something pushed into my urethra. I thought 'OK, this might
work'. Then I talked to a couple girls who told me that if they were guys
they would already have their genitals pierced, which gave me a bit more
courage. So I decided to do it. I told a few friends to insure that I would follow
through with it so as not to look like a chicken.
I called around and found a place that would do it for $80. I went by and
just looked at the place, it was incredibly clean, like a doctor's office. After making sure the studio was clean and they had a working autoclave I
talked to the piercer about it and later called to make an appointment. I
wanted to get it done as soon as possible because I would be heading to
school within a week and was not sure if it would make moving back in a
painful procedure so I wanted a couple days to rest.
I went in for my appointment on a Monday. I brought a friend of mine with me
because he had mentioned that he would kind of like to watch because he was thinking of getting the same thing, so I let him.
I then proceeded to enter the area I was going to be pierced in, I took a quick look around and everything looked in order and then the piercer laid out some plastic on a doctors office esque looking chair. I then dropped my pants and he started marking where he
was going to pierce. After preparing the needle and tools and cleaning the area to be pierced he had me breath really deep in and out over and over
again then after a few breaths he asked when I was ready and he then started the process.
I won't lie, it hurt, a lot. Hell, it hurt. He told me before hand that it was probably the most intense
of the genital piercings, probably because it goes through the most tissue.
The sensation is hard to describe, it felt like a very strong pinch coming
from the inside out. The further he pushed the jewelry, the more I would
feel a pinching sensation. Working the jewelry through was more discomfort,
very similar to the piercing.
My bleeding was very minimal and the aftercare easy. I just wash with
antibacterial soap everyday. The bleeding stopped after a few days, around two
or three. I would strongly recommend not drinking alcohol during the initial
heeling period. I was sitting around wondering why I felt really wet in my
boxers, the alcohol had thinned my blood and I bled a lot. It does not hurt
when it bleeds, but the bleeding is a bit disheartening. It has been about two
weeks now and I have not really been able to reap any benefits of my piercing
yet because the full healing process is quite long. I think I need to hold
off from sex for about two months and then I should use a condom for at least a
year. I can't receive oral sex for about four months (which suck hehe). The after care has to
continue for four months which also kind of sucks. As for right now, it has only served as a major conversation piece,
but it also is not something I will just tell people upon meeting them. Two
girls have asked to see it already though, and I have absolutley no problem at allshowing them =)
I figure the penis looks silly anyway (espically mine), so I decided to make mine a bit more pleasing to the eye. In any case, if you are considering doint it, the pain you go
through is about six to ten seconds long, the piercing hurts and then the when the jewerly is insterted it
hurts some more, but the pain is not as bad as what you are probably imagining
in your mind. If you have ever been hit in the teeth, I think that hurts
more but in a different way, maybe that helps, maybe it does not, either way I hope this has been helpful. Happy piercing, kids.
