well, if there was any one thing i never thought i would do, it was getting my penis pierced, but i went and did it. the only other piercing i have done is my tongue, that was pierced in april. during the summer i got my first tattoo and two more soon followed. i would've been content to just get more tattoos, but somehow the idea of piercing my penis got into my head. after i thought about it for a little while, i looked at some pictures on the internet and thought it just looked far too painful. i, for the most part, put the idea out of my head. in some random conversation, i had mentioned that i considered it and a friend of mine went on about how she knew of someone that had quite a few genital piercings and how much he and his wife enjoyed them. it got me thinking about it a little more. i did a bit more reading and looked at even more pictures, and while they still looked incredibly painful, i liked the way the ampallang looked. not only that, but it was also less common and i read that any piercing that went through the urethra would require insertion of a q-tip dipped in iodine into the urethra. this could be avoided with an ampallang piercing. i thought ok, this might work. then i talked to a couple girls who told me that if they were guys they would already have their genitals pierced, which gave me a bit more courage. i decided to do. i told a few people to insure that i would follow through with it so as not to look like a chicken.

i went in for my appointment on wednesday. i brought a friend of mine with because she had mentioned that she would kind of like to watch. i let her. i won't lie, it hurt, a lot. the piercer laid out some plastic on this medical looking chair. i dropped my pants and he started marking where he was going to pierce. he had me breath really deep in and out over and over again. asked when i was ready and started to pierce. hell, it hurt. he told me before hand that it was probably the most intense of the genital piercings, probably because it goes through the most tissue. the sensation is hard to describe. it felt like a very strong pinch coming from the inside out. the further he pushed the jewelry, the more i would feel a pinching sensation. working the jewelry through was more discomfort, very similar to the piercing.
my bleeding was very minimal. aftercare easy. i just wash with antibacterial soap everyday. my bleeding stopped after a few days, around 3 or 4. i would strongly recommend not drinking alcohol during the initial heeling period. i was sitting around wondering why i felt really wet in the boxers, the alcohol had thinned my blood and i bled a lot. it doesn't hurt when it bleeds, but the bleeding is a bit disheartening. its been about 2 weeks now. i haven't really been able to reap any benefits of my piercing yet because the full healing process is quite long. i think i need to hold of from sex for about 2 months and then i should use a condom for at least a year. i can't receive oral sex for about 4 months. the aftercare has to continue for 4 months. right now, its only been a major conversation piece, but it also isn't something i will just tell people upon meeting them. 2 girls have asked to see it already though, and i honestly do not feel uncomfortable showing them either.
i figure the penis looks silly anyway, so i decided to make mine a bit more unique. in any case, if you are considering doint it, the pain you go through is about 6-10 seconds long. the piercing hurts and then the jewelt hurts some more, but the pain is not as bad as what you can probably imagine in your mind. if you have ever been hit in the balls, i think that hurts more. i hope this has been helpful.
