I have always wanted to get a genital piercing, but I did not know which one. I did not want a Prince Albert, because I think they are kind of stupid so, I had to find one that I liked. My girlfriend and I were watching the movie Strangeland, and we saw a picture of an Ampallang. She suggested that I get an Ampallang. I was not real sure if I should or not, but she talked me into it. That is when I decided to get an Ampallang done.

I called a few different studio's, but none of them did genital piercings. Luckily, I called Micky's, because they were the only local studio that does genital piercings. On 1/22/00, I went to Micky's to get an Ampallang. I could have gotten pierced that day, but the standard post that they had was too small. So, I had to order a longer one, and set up an appointment. A week later, I called to see if the jewelry arrived yet, and the lady I was talking to asked if she could observe the piercing. She told me she never did one before, and wanted to see how to do it. I told her I did not care if she watched the piercing. I just wanted to get it done.

On 1/29/00, I went to Micky's Tattoo for an Ampallang. I walked into the studio with confidence, but about 5 minutes before I went into the room where they do the piercings, I started to get nervous. I went in the room, and sat down on the chair. He took the clamps out, and clamped the head of my penis. The clamps hurt a lot, but I was in store for even more pain. I told him to tell me right before he put the needle in so I could get ready for pain. He started to put the needle through, and I was hurting bad. I could feel the needle ripping through my skin. I was gripping the arm rests on the chair rather tightly, and my legs were shaking a bit. After the needle went through, he put the post in, and that was weird. It felt kind of tingly to me. I thought there would be a lot of blood, but I did not bleed a single drop. It was not as bad as I thought it would be, but it was bad enough. After he was done, I was shaking, and I sat in the chair for a couple of minutes. I hate sitting so, I decided to stand up. I stood around for 10 to 15 minutes, letting the pain go away. My mouth was very dry, and my legs were shaking a little bit. They asked if I needed anything, but all I needed was some water. So, they got me some water.

As soon as I got home, I went into the bathroom to check out my brand new Ampallang. There was a little blood starting to come out of the sides. I figured I would feel weird or nervous seeing blood come out of my penis, but I was not at all. It bled for a few minutes. Micky's said not to use anything like alcohol, because that could be rather painful, neo-sporin, because that prevents oxygen from getting in there, and you need oxygen to have it heal correctly. The cleaning process is funny to me, because you have to pull the post back and forth. I had to do this two times a day. The next day it started to hurt, and I was walking funny. I had to sleep on my stomach or sides for a while so, I do not hurt myself. I healed rather quickly. For the next 9 days I walked funny, but after that I was fine.

Everyone that I know thought I was crazy for doing that, but I did not care. It is different to have people ask to see it, but I could care less if someone sees my penis. To anybody who wants to get a genital piercing, I would have to suggest the Ampallang. It hurts a lot, but it is definitely worth it. My girl friend is very happy that I got it done, and that in turn makes me happy. So I recommend the Ampallang.

A few weeks later, I went back to get my tongue gauged. A lady that worked there said, that the person that observed the piercing said that she did not want to do Ampallang's, because it looked too intense for her. I just laughed, and said it was pretty bad, and that it hurt a lot. Micky's is a great place to go, and I highly recommend them for piercings, and tattoos.
