My Ampallang |

I had never thought of going south for any piercings. I was born with a birth defect and had enough restoration work to last a lifetime. I figured that since I couldn't get a PA that I'd never get anything. My friend Nick had told me about Darcy and had been getting a lot of work done by here. One day I went in and talked with Darcy about genital piercings. She showed me some imagery and we looked at my junk. She said it would not be a problem to pierce it even though it was somewhat deformed. I ask about her experience with ampallang piecings and what her technique and knowledge was. She provided me with plenty of information and showed she was extremely knowledgable about piercing and sterility (this is extremely important to me as I am a nurse). She explained the healing process and the length of time to completely heal (6-8 months) and that since this wasn't going to go through the ureathra (due to my deformity) it would pobably take closer to a year.
I decided to start with a scrotal piercing, mostly due to the cost and the amount of cash in my pocket at the moment. This went very well, only a little pain and I really liked the look. She placed a 12ga 5/8" CBR just below the tip of my head. I really looks kwel ;)
I decided (after talking with a bunch of friends, most of them saying they thought I was crazy) to go for the ultimate in piercing. I went in to where Darcy works only to find she was off until Wed. Boy, what a couple of days that was. When Wednesday finally rolled around I had about worked myself up into a frenzy. I was so freaked out,I was scared that I would pass out or something. But she asured me that people do at times, and that she didn't think I would. She had me go home and get some measurements with an erection and come back in about an hour. When I returned there was a major problem, I had misunderstood just where the piercing was to be placed. I thought it would go through the shaft not the head :( So, my measurements were alittle off. She had to find a piece of jewelry that was longer than we had planned. So, we got everything prepped and ready. I just told her to make it as fast as possible. After getting the markings made and the decision on placement (I got a 14ga 1 3/4 inch barbell) she clamped my member up. It was not amywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be.
After a couple of deep breathes she sent the needle home, it was uncomfortable but I really think I had made it out to be much greater than it actually was. It hurt more when she put the jewelry in than when the needle went in.
I had no real bleeding the first day, but when I went home and soaked it as instructed I found myself with some major spotting the next morning. My scrub pants were covered with blood in four different spots. Over the next week the spotting became less and less. The only real difficulty I have had is that the left side has healed out just slightly, maybe an 1/16 inch.
I did find some major discomfort the first couple of mornings with the old piss hard-on and by day three I had to releive the problem :)
I work out quite a bit and have had a few guys at the Y ask me about it, mostly out in a round about way. I am heavily tattooed and they usually start out by talking about that. It has been strange, these are guys who've seen me for almost a year now and never really ask about the imagery on my body. But I guess with the flash of silver in such a sensative area they are just overcome with curiosity. I am really diggin' this new adornment and am not sorry in the slightest for getting it done. I am an avid runner and have had no real problems with continuing in this activity, I just have to make sure it is placed right when I start out and then readjust as needed during my run, usually as I get dehydrated and my junk shrinks up some I need to reposition it so it is in the right spot to keep it from moving around to much.
I am really looking forward to sharing an intimate experience with someone soon, but right now I am not involved with anyone :( I am sure though soon enough I will get the opportunity to do this.
Healing has been going great, I have stopped soaking it in an attempt to get the entry and exit sites to toughen up, as mentioned earlier I don't want it healing any further out that it already is. I have found the edges to be alittle dry but I have had no real problems with the process.
I hope this has been informative enough for anyone thinking of doing this and will give some insight into the experience
