When Three months ago
Nipple piercings and body piercings altogther have always fascinated me and I consider them beautiful and very sexual. I guess I got it pierced because it's how I express myself not only sexually but as an individual.
When I was younger, I remember seeing photos of Dave Navarro with his pierced nipples and being intrigued and slightly aroused.
I didn't really worry about the pain at the time, I'm not a big fan of pain but I enjoy the rush of adrenaline and endorphins that one gets while experiencing pain.

I got my left nipple pierced a few months ago... and I have to say it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced (and I did not enjoy the pain *laugh*). And it was a great Christmas present from my cousin dearest. I was actually considering getting my eyebrow pierced but my parents said no when I asked them. That's why I decided to get a piercing which I could hide, i.e nipple.

I believe I should have waited until I was 18 though because the place I got pierced at was not at all professional. I got it done at some dodgy asian beauty parlour... NOT the place to be getting pierced.

I guess I just wanted my nipple done. The place where I got it done was the only place I could find which pierced nipples on people under 18 (but over 16 ). All the other places were actual tattoo shops which followed the law which said that you have to be 18 to pierced nipples/genitals. They were PROFESSIONAL.

Anyway, the place didn't look bad it looked very clean... shame I never asked for a portfolio (I wonder now... did she even have a damn portfolio?). I found out about the place because a friend of mine got his nipple pierced there. He told me the clamp was more painful than the needle going through (he obviously lied) and I believed him. Boy was I in for a BIG shock.
Me and my cousin finally went to get pierced, I got my nipple done, she got her navel.
We went into a little room and I went first and lay down and the piercer lady (or should I say... beautician!!!) asked me whether I wanted my left/right and i said left. A right nipple piercing was too stereotypically gay for me (being gay anyway) so I just chose left. And I just lay there calmly while she cleaned my nipple and stimulated it... because my nipples are fairly small.

I actually didn't expect the pain to be that much so there was no adrenaline running through my body and I was totally calm.
I guess this was a big mistake because the pain was really excruciating and so much to bear.
And the piercer pierced it so slowly and stopped about halfway while I was writhing in agony. When she finally got it through, she went about putting the jewellery in which also hurt like a bitch, and my nipple bled quite a bit.

The pain lasted for a while. An intense pain for hours and a slight irritation/pain for about a week. And the bleeding was bad too... it bled for a while and whenever my nipple turned hard it would bleed. The first week was a painful but after that it was fine.

The immediate aftermath of the piercing was excruciating, I could not move my left arm without wincing in pain. At least I wasn't feeling weak, but the pain did last for a while. It was pretty fun hiding the piercing from my parents and to this day they still don't know about the piercing.

At the moment the piercing is fine and healthy and I have since changed it from the barbell to the horseshoe barbell. It did get infected slightly about a month after I got it pierced which was a pain in the ass. It got infected because while running at the gym, It got caught in my shirt which tugged on the piercing. I then made the mistake of swimming in a public pool afterwards. Bad move.
The infection lasted for about 3 weeks and since then it's been totally fine.

I think that if I waited until I was 18 and went to a professional piercing studio the experience would've been less painful. I learned my lesson the hard way... but at least my nipple turned out fine! But I warn no... do not make the mistakes I did!

I want to get my other nipple pierced but I will wait until I'm 18 and ready for the pain. Or hopefully the pain won't be as bad if I get it done by a professional, not at a beauty parlour. For now I will just get my septum pierced... hopefully not as painful as a nipple piercing.
