Well seeing how this just happened less than twenty four hours ago, I thought what better time than now to share my newest do it yourself piercing experience, my right nipple. I had wanted a nipple piercing for a few months now, but my parents have always been the type to deny me any type of modification I want so I usually am forced to turn to second hand do it yourself home jobs.

I grabbed my old trusty safety pin and thumb tack (being 14 its hard for me to come across and real piercing needles, seeing how eBay needs a credit card, BME shop needs an international money order, and I don't even know what a money order is. Thank you extremely low IQ) and began to get to work. I tried my left nipple a few tries. The first I didn't even penetrate the skin seeing how dull the thumb tack was, and the second and third weren't much better, as I only got about a quarter of the way in. There was a definite pain, not just discomfort, and it made my left arm feel numb. It was about midnight so I gave up and went to sleep. The next day I went through my normal day thinking just MAYBE I could do it again. This time I grab the safety pin and try the right nipple. The first jab penetrated half way through (please not I'm piercing farther back on the areola than usual due to my smaller than average nipple) I continue and eventually get the tip to just barley poke out through the skin. I push, but the adrenaline causes my hands to shake, it takes a few minutes but I get the pin through. It was very erect now, and feeling sore, swollen, and there's no other way to put this, angry. So I close the pin and go to chill for a few when I come back and put the jewelery in. the hole stayed open, but wasn't nearly big enough so I had to jam it in. It was a horrible pain, but I managed.
Sleeping was rough that night, every position I tried hurt like hell, but I eventually fell asleep at around one in the morning. I wake up and take a shower, struggling through the pain soap was causing it. The day went pretty much as I expected. A lot of "EEEWWWWWWW" and OH MY GOD you did that yourself?" My favorite comment of the day was "...its gonna get infected and your nipples gonna fall off" My least favorite being, "Fuck its crooked!" So I come home pissed off that after all my efforts all I had was a very crooked nipple. I retired this piercing just a few hours ago rather painfully, and am left with some black residue from the safety pin but am otherwise fine. I will probably pierce it again soon but for right now all I can think about is the throbbing pain in my nipple. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
Overall I would say for the amount of time this piercing wasn't worth it. It was a horrible pain to endure for the short time I got to have it. I have a feeling that the entry and exit holes will leave some sick nasty scars and cant wait so I guess its not all bad. I'm glad I experienced this, and will continue to self pierce. Next on my list is a hafadas piercing, or a frenum (if you would like to suggest which one then feel free to E-Mail me, also if you know where I can get some proper piercing needles, I don't feel like jamming a safety pin into my garbage) I will post an experience after I do that, but for right now, I've got a very sore nipple to deal with.
PLEASE NOTE: This was my experience alone, and I do not at all condone self piercing. It is dangerous, stupid, poor quality, and just a bad idea. It can lead to rejection, migration, keloids, infection, crookedness, blood disease, sexually transmitted diseases, and many other fun things like that. I was very, very, VERY lucky that the only thing that happened was it being crooked, as it could have easily gotten very infected, and I could have possibly died. Don't follow what I did, go to a professional. But hell if you do choose to pierce yourself I can't do a thing to stop you. I will however leave you some advice. Sterilize, pierce straight, and be careful with your nipples, they don't like needles!!!
