I had decided to get my nipples pierced on a spur of the moment urge – no planning, not sure what was involved, but knowing that I really loved the look of nipples with bits of steel in them. I had the usual dressing applied and took a bottle of antiseptic to clean it.
I selected the closed ball, this might have been a mistake. The loop moved around and can introduce dirt and germs to the still raw flesh. I would recommend a bar for the first few months until the wound is completely healed.. It was sore for a few days and a little puss encrusted for a few months – this really pissed me off, I am not sure why it took so long, I kept it clean and swapped out to a bar after about 6 weeks. After a while I took the idea of stimulating it during masturbation (I know now, but never thought about that before!). A bit of rope pulling on it, while I pulled on my dick, and then a weight.
