I love piercings!!! I got my nose done when I was 15 and after that I was hooked and wanted more. I saw an industrial ear piercing and fell in love with it, but my dad said no and that my nose was enough and that if I wanted it I had to wait until I was 18. So on my 18th birthday I got my industrial. That has been about 4 months ago and is completely healed now, so I started getting the itch for a new piercing.
At A Glance Author Karin Contact kerigan22@yahoo.com When It just happened Studio Bodystain Location Columbus, Ohio My boyfriend and I had been out and about and I told him I was thinking about getting my nipple pierced as a christmas gift for myself, he said "Do it" with much enthusiasm I might add. We took a little side trip to Lion's Den before heading to Bodystain off Morse Rd which is the same place I got my industrial and I love it there. We looked at the tattoos for a bit because he has been wanting a back piece and I gave my impute on what I liked and I think he may have found a good one. Then the woman at the counter with killer dreadlocks asked me if I needed help and I told her I wanted my nipple pierced. I decided to only get one done, because I wasn't sure how bad the pain was going to be and I didn't have the money for both. She had me fill out the normal paper work and that sort of thing then me and my boyfriend went into the room without having waiting at all.
She had me sit down and relax while she got everything ready. During the wait I told her that I thought my nipples were inverted and if that would be a problem, she said that even if they are it would actually fix them. She then told me me take off my shirt and bra. I found out that my nipples weren't inverted there just flat(my nipples are pretty small). Then she had me stand up to mark its position. While she was doing that I asked her if she had her nipples pierced she said yes, so I asked if I could see,and when she said no I have to say I was kind of surprised and then embarrassed for asking. The woman was very nice and joked with me and told me a story about a woman that had inverted nipples blah blah, basically just talking to keep me from getting to nervous.
After marking me I sat back down and she laid the seat back. I was laying there completely exposed in front of a stranger and yet it wasn't that uncomfortable, having Ben there holding my hand helped a lot. It was time for the clamps, it felt like my nipple was being pinched really hard and kind of hurt and felt good at the same time. She told me to take a couple deep breaths and the she put the needle threw then the ring, it was so quick. I got up to look at my new piercing and I loved it. The way it looked against my pail skin was amazing I felt so sexy. I put my clothes back on, paid, and went on my way after she explaining aftercare and the fact I had to sleep in a bra for a while, which I wasn't to happy about. After we left Ben asked me how it was and what it felt like and we stopped so he and I could get a good look at my new jewelery, he told me how great it looked and I had to remind him about what the woman said about no oral contact until it was healed. He was a little disappointed but i'm sure we will deal with it, it will be worth it in the long run.
I'm not going to lie it did hurt a bit, but not as bad as I had expected. Out off the whole process, sliding the hoop in hurt the worst, but she was so quick about it I hardly noticed. I am familiar with piercings so i pretty much new what i was getting myself into. It has only been a day since I got my nipple done but so far I have not had any problems(except for sleeping in a bra),as long as you follow aftercare instructions everything will normally heal well anyway. This piercing,unlike my other two,was completely spontaneous and I(as well as my boyfriend)am so glad that I got it done, we are looking forward to the fun side effects of having this piercing I can already tell a difference in sensitivity. I recommend this piercing for anyone looking for something different and interesting. Bodystain is a great place to get pierced and I will definitely be going back to get my first tattoo.
