Hello, I'm Chris and just turned 18, I would like to thank you for reading my experience and hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed getting it done :)

I already have a few piercing's, a anti eyebrow piercing below my left eye, a labret piercing and a few on my ear including an 8mm ear lobe, 16ga cartilage piercing and a septum.

So i'm finally 18, and can legally get my nipple pierced as it was my 18th birthday I decided to go a few days after since i'll probably still ill have a hangover the day after my birthday, so went on the Tuesday (my birthday was on the Sunday) and was feeling better from the Sunday night.

I walked round town with my good mate Lucy for a while to have some food and a can of coke, before going into the studio. I walked over to the counter and saw this heavily modified girl and asked if I could get my nipple pierced, giving me the paperwork to fill in and looked at my id. I paid £ 25 and went to the waiting room, which was small, and quiet which made me feel a bit calmer about the thought of a needle being shoved trough my nipple.

As the other people go in and come out it gets closer to my turn, and I start feeling slightly scared yet excited. the piercer finally calls my name out and asked if my mate Lucy can come with me, and he said sure which made me feel better having someone with me.

He explains the aftercare to me, and tells me not to touch it with dirty hands, wash it twice a day, and that it will be sore afterwards so take some pain relief such as paracetamol.

I said I wanted to have my left nipple pierced, not sure why just felt this side would be best. he says that he will pierce it at 14ga which I thought was seemed quite large but He assured me it would be fine, and asked if I wanted a CBR or a barbell, I wanted a cdr so he opens up a sterile pack with a CBR in and also opens up a sterile needle to show that it was a new needle and sterile, he then wipes around my nipple with some sort of pad to clean it.

He marks my nipple with a felt tip pen and asks if its ok, I looked in the mirror looked fine to me, I was sure he marked it right since he is a professional piercer after all, and agreed.

The clamps! reading experiences of these before I was nervous about these, but they didn't bother me to much, just uncomfortable but nothing painful.

the clamps are on, the needles out and up against my nipple, he explains to me to breath in and out and on the 3rd breath he will pierce my nipple. breathing in and out for the 2nd time I was about to shout stop but by the time I in he pushes the needle through my nipple and can feel it going through layers of skin and then as it came out the other side of my nipple, a huge pain shot straight up my chest, he then puts the stainless steel 14ga ring in the end of my needle and slides it through, this hurt, real bad, and I thought it was more painful that the needle going through, this may be due my nipple already having a needle pushed through so was pretty tender already.

The ball pops in place, and he wipes the small amount of blood of my nipple and wipes it again to clean it before admiring it and putting my shirt back on.

after walking around town for a while thinking of my new piercing, and grabbing some more food and another bottle of coke to keep my sugar levels up, I knew the drive home would be rather uncomfortable, the drive home was quite painful and I felt every bump and my nipple was starting to become sore but once I got home and took my shirt of it was definitely worth it and if your thinking of getting your nipple pierced don't let the pain factor put you off, go for it and you'll enjoy it.

Its been 3 days now and the swellings gone down and is not sore anymore, just cant wait till the summer now when it'll be all healed and get to show it off, i'm even thinking of getting my other nipple pierced as well sometime in the near future, maybe in the new year, and would encourage everyone to get there nipple pierced, it may hurt but this shouldn't put you off piercing.

thanks for reading and happy piercings in the future :)
