This story was almost going to be in the nose piercing section, because today I actually had an appointment for my septum. Instead though I have my nipple pierced. I love it. It's still tender, and a bit crusty. But hey, a nipple piercing is a lot more fun than a septum if you ask me.

Studio skinwalkers Location Saskatchewan I have wanted my nipple pierced since I knew what a nipple piercing was. I found out that you could pierce your nipple while using the school bathroom in grade six and over hearing 8th graders talk about how they wanted theirs done. I was fascinated. Being in grade six, not only was I to young to even think about getting my own nipple pierced, but I lacked the boobs to compliment the piercing itself.
Six years have past since that day when I realized that you could pierce more than your ears and nose. I still had the urge to get my nipple pierced, but ignored it and allowed myself to fill my body a few other piercing. (Nose 3x, vertical labret to the side, 3 surface piercing [non facial], and navel.) Those piercings are all other stories though.
Yesterday I wasn't even thinking of getting my nipple pierced, I was set on a cute septum piercing. I called a new place, thinking I would change it up a bit ( yes, I cheated on my piercer ) I made an appointment for noon, I only have morning classes at school. Yesterday passed fairly quickly and today came.
I was getting excited for my septum; I got a ride in from my bestfriend/roomate, Ryan. On the way I ate a muffin, to insure my blood sugar was good. My stomach was doing that wonderful dance like it always does right before a piercing.
I walked into the shop; it was clean, bright and welcoming. The girl at the desk asked if she could help me and I informed her I had a 12 o clock appointment. She went into the back and got everything ready. The girl then got me to fill out the forms and directed me into the back. She did the usual routine of explaining everything to me and showing me the jewelry when it hit me. WAIT!!! I timidly asked "I've changed my mind... can I get my nipple pierced instead?" The girl did not seem irritated whatsoever. She got out different jewelry and went through the process of the nipple piercing, no septum for today. Orwell!!
I took of my sweater, shirt and bra... she then marked my left nipple and gave me a mirror to check it out. Perfection. I laid down on the doctor like bed and she clamped my nipple. Not comfortable at all! She then got me to practice some breathing in from my nose and out from my mouth, then counted back from 3 and at 1, the needle was through. The pain was sharp, quick, and burned like nothing else. I kept breathing heavily as she threaded the jewelry through.
I got to stand up after a minute of making sure I wasn't going to pass out/faint. It was beautiful, I mean... I'm not a huge fan of my boobs, but it was cute, simple and just pretty. A shiny new 14g cbr was in my left nipple.
I thanked her and left a tip, she gave me the cleaning info and I was on my way. I plan on getting my other nipple pierced, but because the shop was cash only, today I could only do one.
It's been a few hours since I got it done and it's just a bit crusty, I've rinsed it twice with sea salt and warm water. I can really see why all women recommend a nice tight bra for the first while! I tried taking it off when I got home but the rubbing against my shirt was too much.
I knew that a nipple piercing would hurt; I've heard many stories of the pain. Honestly though, I expected worse. I have had more painful and less painful experiences. Many people say that after you get your nipple pieced it doesn't look like the other one in shape, mine looks the exact same except for the cbr through it. That makes me happy. I also don't have very big boobs, I'm not going to even lie about that, but I still think it looks pretty.
I'm not sure how well I'm going to sleep tonight because I hate sleeping with a bra on, but I think that will be best. I really enjoy the piercing so far, and would recommend it to anyone who wants it done. Don't let the pain factor stop you. Also, I am so happy I got this rather than my septum... that can wait!!
