So I am what I would call a rookie in the whole body mod world. Just started getting into it pretty much April of this year. A tongue piercing here, a tattoo there, a poorly done nipple piercing another time. Not as much as I would like to have. I never really thought I would ever get my nipples pierced, much less at a four gauge. But it seems that Paul moon lights as a negotiator for the DPD, as he talked into getting the biggest hole in my body that god didn't intend for me to have.

So on the last day of September, me and my girl were just chilling around the house, trying to decide what to do for the day. She wanted to go see some movies of course, and before we did anything.....I wanted to get another hole somewhere. I started calling all my favorite shops around town asking how much an 8 gauge Prince Albert would be. Two outta three of those places said they would have to order the jewelry as well as charge me $110 for the piercing, while the third said he would just have to order the jewelry and it would be $90. So then i called 360 Blues one more time and asked them how much it would be for an 8 gauge nipple. I got the quote for $50 and my girl and I set off for some adventure.

So we get to 360 Blues and as I am parking the car, i notice a very familiar red Focus in the parking lot. I knew it was somebody that we had hung out with at the '06 Texas BME-Q, but i couldn't put my finger on it. So we stroll on in, she starts looking at the flash on the walls and I'm watching some dude squirm as he gets his ankle tattooed. Yes, I laugh at other peoples misfortunes. I'm a cruel, cruel negro. Kill me. Then we walk back to the piercing area, and I this chick modded up like crazy and with bandages in her back. What do you know...it was IAM:Tabbikat. We talked about how she just got done doing her suspension and what not, and got up on some stuff, and I told her why I was there. It turns out that the 8 gauge jewelry I was going to use was her special order jewelry as it seemed. I really didn't want to use her jewelry but hey, a niggas gotta get his nip pierced right? So Paul was like, "well the eight on you really won't look like an eight, since your a big guy. Why don't you kick it up to a four gauge?". Sure, I said. Blindly saying yes, I really didn't care. Same price, bigger guage, why not?

So he shows me the jewelry and I'm like, yea it its big but nothing astronomical. So he said he had to throw my circular barbel in the auto-clave and it would take like thirty minutes. So I take my girl to Bennigans and grab some food that I DID NOT FINISH. We get back and its time to do the deed. He sets everything up and I do a double take on the needle: 0_0!!!!?!?1?!/1/1/1/1 "GODDAMN THATS HOW BIG THE NEEDLE IS?!". I was freaking out big time. I have never seen a needle that big in my life. So I take off my shirt and sit down. and i start freaking out even more. That's how it is with all of my piercings. I usually don't freak out until I sit down and all the marking and prep takes place. Paul was being all nice and cool about it, keeping me entertained and joking with me and stuff. "Take a few deep breaths close your eyes.....", and there it was. It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Yea it hurt, all piercings do, but it was just a little bit worse than my other 14 guage nipple. I bled pretty good though, so he taped a paper towel over my tit and then he went over after care with me. The standard non-oral piercing fare. Dial anti-bacterial soap, I use Lever 2000 like three times a day whenever I take a shower. It gets the job done, and the H20cean I ordered just came in so I am going to try that and see how it works out.

So morel of the story is.....if your a decent sized dude, go for a bigger gauge. It looks awesome, and the pain level is almost the same. Because I am 6'2 290 pounds and the look is great. You won't regret a thing. And Paul is one great piercer, I would recommend 360 Blues to anyone who needs anything pierced. Next on the list for Paul to do is my four gauge apadravya. Happy pokes to everyone out there.
