Well the week started out like any other except that my parents were going on vacation for a week and my boyfriend and I had the house to ourselves. My boyfriend had just turned 21 and we decided to celebrate with some alcohol after my parents had left. So late on that Thursday night my boyfriend and I had a few drinks and we started joking about the idea of me getting my nipples pierced as we have so many times before, but this time it seemed a little different(like I might actually do it!). So we spent the night pondering the idea and decided that if we thought it was still a good idea in the morning we would go and I would get them both done.

So we decided to start calling a few piercing and tattoo places to get prices, then we went to breakfast at big boys which probably was not a good idea after the night we had. After breakfast we still thought that getting my nipples pierced was a good idea so we went to eternal tattoos and piercing.
I have heard from many people who went there and were very satisfied with the service and results they got. We pulled up in the parking lot and I got really nervous and kind of sick feeling but we decided to go in and see what needed to be done. The people there were very professional and helpful, they answered all of my questions. I had some of the basic questions that everyone has questions like how bad does it hurt, how long do they take to heal, will I still have nipple sensation and a few other things. After all of my questions were answered I was still a little nervous because the only other thing I have pierced are my ears but I decided to go for the gusto!
The woman who was helping me had me pick which type of rings or bars I wanted and the balls. I chose rings and pink balls. She then took me into the room and sat me in the chair. My boyfriend was waiting anxiously outside the room because it was a pretty small room and he didn't want to watch(I didn't blame him). The woman prepared the rings and things then the next thing I knew I had a cold clamp on my nipple and then she told me to breathe in and out HA HA! I was scared out of my mind at that point but I wasn't trying to show it! She put the needle through and I felt a slight sting and tingle but it was really not as bad as I had anticipated, but the really weird thing about it was that the pain was not directly in my nipple. It hurt at the bottom of my breast! I asked her if this was normal she said yes that actually some people get pain all the way into their armpits. I was very relieved to know that that was it!
She asked if I was ok to move on to the next one and I said sure that was nothing like I thought it would be. Then she said the second one was usually worse than the first but after she had done it I didn't think so because I was more relaxed because I knew what was coming. Then before I knew it, it was over and she was putting the rings in honestly that hurt worse than the actual piercing itself but it was not unbearable.
After I had gotten dressed and was walking out of the room I realized that there was another guy standing in the lobby by my boyfriend and he was smiling at me. I thought it was weird but when my boyfriend and I left he told me why the guy was smiling. apparently there was a small window in the room I was in and the guy heard me breathe and grunt a little and I guess he knew what I was getting pierced. I was so embarrassed after that but I got over it because I was never going to see him again.
All in all it was not bad pain wise but the healing process was a little scary because nipples aren't supposed to bleed and the cleaning took a lot of extra time. also I wasn't able to wear less than 2 shirts because I didn't want my parents to find out and without the layers you could see the rings, but other than those things it was a truly different and unexpected experience. I don't think that the choice was made after the smartest night of my life but I don't regret
doing it and it was fun! And for not having anything but my ears pierced it didn't hurt that bad.
P.S. - I do not advise to anyone else to get their nipples or anything pierced the night after being under the influence it is not a wise decision but I did and hey what are you going to do?
