To start off with, I am not usually one to do self-piercings or let someone pierce me that is not a piercer. However, I felt this was an intimate thing to share with my partner. The needle that was used came straight out of a package and was by itself. The jewelry that he used was brand new. I think the only problem with the jewelry is that it should be longer to allow swelling. I don't condone self-piercings if you do not know what you are doing. Chris assured me he has done this before and I have a strong bond of trust with him.

Anyways...to the story...

I was at Chris's house last night. We are...together, but at the same time not...mainly because I am leaving for college soon. I mentioned to him that I was getting a new piercing this week and he asked what.

"I'm getting my monroe redone," I said.

He replied saying "That's cute. I was hoping you'd say something like your nipples."

Obviously I cannot get my nipples done right now...I am 17. I only have about a month and a half until I am 18, but I am still a minor. Then I mentioned to him that I have actually been thinking about getting my nipples pierced sometime soon.

Chris mentioned to me that he has pierced nipples before and he would do one for me. At first, I kind of thought it was a bad idea and didn't want to let someone unprofessional pierce me but then I agreed.

We planned to do it that night but we both fell asleep. I am kind of glad we did because sleeping would not have been fun.

So, we woke up around 1pm and hung around until he had to leave. I casually was kidding around and said "I knew you wouldn't actually pierce me..." and then he got out of bed and looked around for his needles and jewelry.

We started in the kitchen where he had me sitting up on a stool and marking it. I started to shake (as I always do when I am about to get pierced) and he realized I was freaking out. So he asked if I'd be more comfortable on a chair and I told him I rather be laying down.

We walked into his bedroom and he sat on the edge as I laid down near him. Of course, I was still freaking out and he showed me where he was going to do it and we decided to go for diagonal. He asked me if I was ready and I said nothing...and then told him to just do it.

And he did.

And I remember saying "Oh, this cannot hurt more than my snug..." when we were talking about it. And you know what? It didn't...I don't think. But it was a different kind of pain and it WAS painful.

So we laid there for a second and I said "Can I have my kiss now?" because he promised to kiss me if it hurt (although he'd probably kiss me anyways) and make me feel better. Of course, the jerk wouldn't kiss me until he got the jewelry in.

I've never watched jewelry go through. All of my piercings have been on my ears or my monroe. So, I started to watch him put it through and then turned away when I felt the pain.

And let me tell you, the jewelry going in was worse than the needle. I kept saying "Chris, tell me it's almost done" as I was making little screeching noises...and he didn't answer me. So I said "Chris, I don't give a damn if you're not almost done. Tell me you are anyways!" So I sat there...and he said nothing. Then he said, "I'm not almost done" and by the pain, I thought he was being serious. So I told him to shut up and I knew it wasn't almost done.

Then I looked down...

And he was sitting there and the jewelry was already in with the ball screwed on.

Again, I wish the bar was a bit longer because I don't think it's good for the swelling. I am just going to have to work with it and see what I can do.

And also, I repeat. Self-piercing or getting pierced by a nonprofessional is NOT a great idea if the person doing the piercings does not know what he/she is doing.

It's been a bit over an hour and it still is hurting but it's not that bad. I love it and I think it is very cute.

Thanks for reading. Sorry it's a bit jumbled...my thoughts are a bit jumbled right now and I am kind of trying to take hold the concept that I have a new piercing and it's my nipple.

Enjoy your future piercings!
