My venture into the world of body piercing began two years ago when I first cast my eye on a VCH and questioned if I could be that girl in that picture. It took me another year of research and longing before I actually took the plunge, and the only thing I regret is letting my fears get in the way of doing it sooner. So a few months after my VCH had healed, and I felt the piercing itch again, I promised myself I would do the amount of research as necessary then go for it!

I modify the parts of my body that I consider to be the ugliest, so the pussy was first and I knew next would have to be my breasts! I toyed for a long while on whether I should do one at a time or both together, there are many pros and cons to weigh up. In a way I envy those women who take the plunge and say: "sod it! Do both while I'm here and naked", that however is not how I do things. So at the moment I have just my left nipple pierced. My logic behind my decision being that: My nipples are quite small and go flat when not stimulated so I thought it sensible to see how one heals before I ruin two nipples. My reason for selecting my left for the needle is because it's my least sensitive nipple so if I lost sensation I would not miss it so much and it is the slightly smaller breast so I thought some jewellery in it might balance the scale.

I knew that my piercing would have to be done by the amazing professional Quentin, who I last entrusted with a needle near my clitoris! I rang his shop in Worthing a few weeks before to check the times he would be in (I really did not want to get my boobs out for someone else) and to see if I needed an appointment. I also wanted to check that he would use a straight barbell for my jewellery, because personally I really don't like the look of the CBR's, and from what I had read barbells are better for the well endowed girl, and being an F cup I think I fit in that category ;)

I waited until I had a week off work before heading to Worthing, I think in my case it was the best way to start the healing with minimal hindrances, as I tend to bump my boobs into everything! On the morning of the day I had decided to get stuck I found myself dragging my heels slightly. The fear had sunk in! I was petrified of subjecting poor Quentin to another ugly part of my anatomy, and of course the PAIN!!!!!!! After reading so many accounts of what the pain was like to different people, you begin dreading that your experience is going to be up their with the worst. I managed some breakfast and eventually got on the road. Due to my delaying of the situation I turned up at Kalima as they were eating lunch, I felt awful (again so sorry guys!!!!), I announced I wished to have my nipple pierced and would call back later. Quentin would hear none of it; he told me to fill in the forms while he finished his sarnie and got his workstation ready (I think he must have known I may have left and never come back!). I then chose my jewellery, usually I would have gone for basic silver, however after holding some silver barbells to my nipple in the past I knew it would not suit me as my nipple pigment is extremely fair like the rest of my breast. So instead I plumped for this lovely green titanium barbell, 1.6 gage, 14 millimetres (I think?).

Then I was shown into the back room, my knees now knocking with anticipation of what I was about to let happen. I wore a stretchy vest top so I could pull it down just below my breasts without subjecting Quentin to the rest of my nakedness (silly I know, but it made me feel better). I pointed out which nipple I wished to have done and he told me to stand up straight while he marked, using many measuring instruments to ensure his marks were straight. He asked me if that was the extent of how erect my nipple became, and unfortunately I had to nod "yup, that's about it I'm afraid", Quentin smiled n told me the piercing should change that. All marked up I hopped on the doctors bed and lay down, Quentin flicked some music on and got me to concentrate on my breathings, and with each breath relax myself further into the bed. He clamped my nipple, telling me it would numb my nipple slightly... "Yeah right!" I thought to myself. The clamp was in no way uncomfortable or painful for me, possibly because I was too busy being petrified about the needle that is soon to be shoved through my nipple. Quentin told me he was lined up ready to pierce, so I breathed in and exhaled, on that the needle went through, he asked if I was ok and then inserted the jewellery. "That's it, all done" Quentin announced, "How was it?" I honestly could not believe how much that did not hurt, it was a weird sensation, I could feel the needle passing through, but I would not describe any of it as painful. I felt almost cheated, I'm such a wuss when it comes to pain, I yelped like a little baby when he did my VCH with both the piercing and the jewellery placement. Quentin pointed out how much bigger my nipple was now, and that it would pretty much stay like that, at last a proper nipple thought I! I had bled a little bit so I stayed lying down enjoying the rush whilst Quentin put gauze on my nipple to protect the piercing (and my bra)! I sat up and we talked for a while about my lack of pain and the aftercare (still topless, it would have looked very funny if anyone had walked in). I got dressed and headed back to the shop, I paid and tipped Quentin for another smooth piercing experience, apologised once again for interrupting their lunch and left with my aftercare instructions, cotton buds, sea salt and herbal tincture.

My whole breast was invaded by this burning sensation on my walk back to the car and it lasted until I got home and put an ice pack on top of my bra and took some ibuprofen. The nipple bled slightly for the next three days, so I strongly suggest buying your self some maternity breast pads to protect your bra. I slept in a bra for two weeks, which again I strongly recommend, as the piercing felt much better supported until the skin loosens up a bit, plus you don't feel as paranoid about catching it and ripping it out in your sleep. I'm still doing two sea salt soaks a day as dictated by my care sheet, I also used the herbal tincture until it ran out, I'm not sure what is in it but it really helped with the initial healing process. Six months on and it still gets a little crusty at the holes (the exit is worse than the entrance), but I was well prepared for the healing process to take up to 12 months so this does not bother me.

I love how it looks, I feel so much better about my breast and so far there have been no problems. I can't wait for it to heal so I can have the other nipple done to match (safe to say I am prepared for a much more painful experience)! I will be returning to Quentin for this with out a doubt, his shop is a lovely environment and he is an absolute gem, so much so I'm contemplating discussing another genital piercing whilst I'm waiting for the nipple, I have my fingers crossed for a triangle!

Just remember pain is relative to the individual, you are not going to know how it is going to feel until you go for it, as long as you leave it to someone you can trust who is highly recommended, whatever the feeling the end product is going to be one you are over the moon with, go for it!
