Ive always been interested in piercings ever since I was young. When I was 13 I got one of my friends to pierce my ears for a second time with an earring in the backyard ( hiding from mum who was inside) also doing hers which didn't phase me at all. Also I began to pester my parents at about the age of 14 to let me get my bellybutton pierced and got the same old answer. Wait till your sixteen and can get it yourself. So as soon as turned sixteen there I was at my local piercer getting it done. It was my first real piercing and I loved it and couldn't stop looking at it for days. Having a little sneak peek every now and then. I dont know why but it have me alot of confidence and helped me get out there and do things I never would have before.

I began to research other piercings on BME and found that I liked the look of nipple piercings so I researched it a little more and decided to get it done. I got a friend of mine which wanted it done as well to come with me and we chose a day and skipped a class (yes I know very naughty) and walked from our school to the piercing place. As my friend and I got closer and closer we became more and more nervous. But we both wanted it done badly so we told ourselves to Get Over It!.
Now to the real deal! Finally we walked into the shop and told the lady at the desk what we wanted and she gave us some forms to fill out while we waited because Adrian was having lunch. We looked at some tattoo books and talked about how much it was going to hurt. Adrian then checked our I.D and took us into the piercing room. Which was very clean and tidy. I knew I could trust this place because I had been to watch three of my friends get their tongues pierced and knew Adrian was very professional. My friend went first at my request. She took off her top and listened while Adrian told us what he was going to do and the aftercare we would need to undertake. Next he cleaned the nipple, marked it and my friend checked the placing. It was fine. She sat back down and he clamped it and it was all over it a matter of seconds. Perfectly placed as well. She had a 12g put in it was cleaned and then it was my turn. Same thing happened and I had a 10g CBR put in(my nipple is smaller than hers) he went through the aftercare again. We paid only $50 then got given a special solution and were told to apply it 2-3 times daily. Also to use a salt wash 2-3 weekly.
All in all it was pretty painful but only for a couple of seconds then it was a hot tingly sensation. Nothing to hard to handle. It's now the next day and I slept fine last night it hasn't bled at all and Ive yet to bump it which is good. I'm very happy with my piercing and glad I got it done. I haven't even had much crusty stuff yet which is good and it's not sore at all at the moment. Ive carried out all the aftercare and I am looking after it very carefully I dont want anything to happen to my cute little piercing. It's special because only you know you have it (unless you choose to tell people) I recommend this piercing highly.
Next I want to quit where I work it's horrible anyway and get my tongue pierced. It's probably my favourite piercing and I can't wait to get it done. I love looking at the photo's on BME and my friends tell me it's the coolest piercing because of the sensation it gives.
I dont think I want anymore piercings after my tongue although I might change my view on that in a couple of years. I like piercings because they give you an outlet to express yourself in a different way.
I can't wait till monday to compare how my piercing is going with my friend and exchange stories together. I think it's brought us alot closer too because we both have gone through it and know what it's like. Ive yet to tell my parents but I dont think they will find out because I dont often show my nipples to them :) But I dont really care if they find out because it's my nipple and I really love my piercing so they can't do anything about it.
