One of the greatest experiences of my life was definitely a spur of the moment decision, well kinda. My boobs have been lonely for a long time and I knew since I was 14 there had to be a cute little barbell though my ladies. But I woke up the other day and realized that I had just gotten paid, and I needed a little randomness in my life. So I climbed out of bed and said, "today is the day I get my nipples pierced"

I called everywhere when I narrowed it down to the place I usually do my piercings, and a new place that iv heard great things about, (of course you have to be 18 though) Luckily enough my 20-year-old friends offered to come with me and I decided on trying the new place I found. So I called them up. I asked the usual questions how much? How old? How long have you been piercing? Then finally I asked, can we do it today? "Sorry I'm installing a floor in the shop, I'm taking appointments again for tomorrow. Fair enough, I guess ill have to wait one more day. I booked my appointment and played the waiting game.
Waiting those 23 hours was a hell, all I could think of was my cutie little nipples getting the poke. That night I did as much as possible to keep my mind off of it, but how can you when you are finally doing something you have wanted to do since forever. I was excited and nervous. Finally it was bedtime. Id made it through the night, now its just tomorrow morning that worried me.
The morning of was exhilarating. I woke up, got ready and picked the nicest, loosest easiest access shirt I could find. My friends came and picked me up and we were on our way. My heart was racing. We got there an hour early for some reason, which wasn't to bad because I got in early. The piercer asked me what I would prefer, barbells or rings. I thought about it, for about two milliseconds. Barbells are just way hotter so it was a no brainer to me. So we went into the room and I took off my shirt, ripped off my bra and was just waiting for him to get started. I was so eager to get them done. The guy could tell so he just got started. He took out his handy dandy pen and got right to it. Everything was in its packaging hanging out on the tray beside me, so I sat down in the chair and prepared myself. My last piercing (rook) didn't go so well so I was really nervous about this one, especially about such a sensitive area.
He started with my right nipple. Got started taking the needles out of the packages, then the clamps got taken out. He put the clamp up to my nipple. It really wasn't as uncomfortable as people say it is, but I'm weird like that. He touched the needle up to my skin; I think just to taunt me. He pulled it back a little bit and said he was ready. I told him that I was prepared and he told me to breath in, and out. During the exhale he shoved the needle in. Feeling the needle go though the tough skin was amazing. Halfway though the piercing he adjusting the needle which all I can say wow that was a surprise. It only took a few seconds and it was done, so he put the barbell in, put on the little ball and told me he was done. It wasn't bad at all, in fact that was probably the easiest piercing I've ever had done. What made it even easier is knowing my numerous failed attempts at doing it at home with a safety pin would never EVER have been that easy.
I looked down and I was in awe, my nipple was perfect. It was centered, deep enough, and just perfect. One down, one to go! The second one was a little more painful as I've heard, but how can I complain. The procedure was the same, just as quick, just as fun. Needle went in, needle came out after a bit of adjusting. Cutie barbell went in and TADA!! "Stand up and look at the new improved nipples". I practically jumped out of the chair to take a look. It was like angels flew down with needles and stabbed my boobs. Haha, they looked fantastic. I put my shirt back on after a few minutes of admiring. I thanked him, and we left the shop. I didn't feel light headed, or faint, or nauseas, or anything except little metal bars right where I wanted them. I got one of my friends to drive back to my house, and I just sat in the front seat, staring at my lovely fresh piercings.
The day of the piercing I felt no pain, sometimes just a little discomfort when I moved my arm awkwardly. Sleeping was a bit of a hassle since I sleep on my stomach, but I solved that by putting a bra on. Waking up the next morning I couldn't even believe that I actually had my nipples pierced. Work that day was an adventure, but again no pain at all. Showering felt amazing. Life was just good with the piercings. They look amazing and I owe my piercer a huge hug (when my nipples are healed perhaps)
There are two things I have to say to other people. If you even remotely think you want it done DO IT!! It's worth every penny. I can't say I've ever been happier in my life then I am looking at the silver curved barbells that now reside under my shirt. Other then that I am going to tell people not to try this at home, think about the risks you are putting yourself at. If you want them that bad, just spend the money because it's worth it.
