I had just gotten breast implants about a year ago because I was working as a stripper trying to pay myself through medical school, and you don't make a whole lot of money with an A cup. When you have such a small breast size, you obviously don't have much breast tissue, therefore when you get an implant with such a small size to begin with, and you go from a size A to a size D, there is pretty much just your implant and then skin with nothing in between. The other thing I should have done is have it done under the muscle, but I had it done over the muscle, so if you are going to get your breasts done, or already have your breasts done and are thinking about getting an areola piercing, you should really read this because I don't want something awful like this happening to you.

He didn't even have a lot of equipment, and he had me laying on a crappy, dirty old futon that smelled like wet dog. When he put the needle in at first, everything seemed fine, but he went way too far in and I began experiencing excruciating pain! I thought maybe it was just because I was having a needle shoved into my body, but I have a few other piercings and none of them had ever hurt this badly before. He had gone so far that he punctured my implant, and the saline was leaking into my breast!!! I didn't realize it for a while, until my breast started to look funny and my implant looked like it had shifted really badly. I had to be rushed to the emergency room, have my implant removed, and then go back to my plastic surgeon to have a new implant put in.
I'm in the middle of a lawsuit to try to get the jerk to pay for all of my medical bills and my new implant. PLEASE GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!!! You don't want to have something like this happen to you... I have had so many medical bills to deal with because I didn't have health insurance at the time, not to mention that because the emergency room didn't have a decent surgeon, I have a disgusting scar that is going to cost me even more money to try to get rid of. This whole thing has been such a nightmare, and was so not worth trying to save a few bucks. PLEASE take my advice. It's not worth all of the pain and suffering I have had to go through.
All of the professional piercings I have gotten have been great. I have a tongue piercing and a hood piercing, and I absolutely love them. I got all of them done at Skin Gallery by Pervert and Chris, and my boyfriend got his tongue pierced there. When Chris did my tongue, I didn't even feel it, I didn't really even bleed, and I even had him do it a little further back so it didn't show as much when I was around my family, since they don't really know about my job and they still think that I'm a fairly good girl. My best friend got her hood piercing there too because I gave her the reference, and Chris did her hood too. It's such an amazing piercing, and he made me feel so comfortable, I didn't feel awkward at all. I don't know if he is still there, but if he is, I highly recommend that you ask for him because he is the best piercer. I can't say that you will automatically be satisfied anywhere, and I can't guarantee that a professional won't mess you up either, because if you look at this site, you can read about lots of horror stories from people that have done things the right way. I do have confidence, however, in the piercers that I have mentioned, and you can always get GOOD references from people you know and by going on sites like this. I can pretty much guarantee that if you get it done professionally that you will have better results than if you don't. It is just a much smarter way to go. Happy piercing!
