When I started work at my current job I had a co-worker who is younger than me, not by much, who had both of her nipples pierced. I had always been intrigued by it and always asked her questions as to how much it hurt, what it felt like, you know, the usual. She had always answered my questions nicely and told me that I should get it done, but I was too much of a chicken to do it. I thought it would hurt way too much!

She promised me that she would be game for it when the next pay day rolled around and didn't want me to forget so she would call me to make sure I would go.
Well pay day rolled around and I called my other friend to see if she would go with me too, to hold my hand and make sure I wouldn't freak out. I was deathly afraid of needles mind you. I told her to meet me at my job at 2:45 so I could get my paycheck and get it cashed and be ready for the piecing. She showed up right on time, and my co-worker was supposed to be there to, but had not shown up yet. So we waited and waited until 3 o'clock rolled around and I called my co-worker and told her I'd meet her at Gypsy Rose at 3 o'clock. Well she was a no show so I told my friend that I was going to go through with it no matter what/ She had me convinced that I was crazy :)
When the time rolled around she was nowhere to be found, but I had my other friend with me. Not being a chicken I decided that since I was there I was going through with it. I walked in and told the lady what I wanted and she told me that I would have to wait for the lady ahead of me. After about 5 minutes two guys and a girl walked out of the back room. Both of the guys had gotten their nipples pierced and showed me what it looked like. The both said that the clamp was the worst part and that I was a crazy girl for getting it done. She finally finished up with the other lady in front of me who was getting her eyebrow pierced and she took me back to the back room. I sat on the table and patiently waited as I watched her sterilize everything. She asked if I was nervous and if I had another piercing besides this one. I of course have my navel and ears done but nothing like the nipple. I asked her if it would hurt and she told me that she was not about to lie to me and tell me it wouldn't, because it does, and it hurts a lot. With that said I decided I still wanted to have it done so I lifted my shirt and asked my friend to hand me my sunglasses so I could chew on them. When I was ready I started to chew on my sunglasses, as she began putting the clamp on. Luckily my friend was there with me holding my hand so I couldn't get up and leave.
The clamp was nothing; it did not hurt at all. She asked me to breathe deeply and I did for a few breaths than without warning she put the needle through. I felt her put the needle through and let it sit there for a minute, I couldn't look down because my sunglasses were in the way, then I felt the ring go through before I could look down at it. My friend took my sunglasses out of my mouth so I could look at it, it had bled a little bit but it looked so pretty. My nipple was gorgeous!!! She asked me if I wanted to do the other one to, which I had planned on doing but I got so warm that I had to lie down and turn the fan on. I told her that I was not going to do the other one at this time but wait until next time. I layer on the table for a good 5 minted before I decided that I was cold and needed to sit up. She asked me if I was fine, which I was, but I was still in awe of what I had just done. Looking down at my new piercing at the time all I could think about was how pretty it looked.
She then took me out to the main room and explained cleaning and after care to me, in front of everyone else in the parlor. I got some strange looks from a mother that was there with her 13 year old daughter that was getting her ears pierced and a few other guys that gave me a smile and a wink. Obviously they think its hot, I had hoped my boyfriend would to. After leaving the shop I kept thinking about how much it hurt and how I was glad I went through with it. I have had it for over a month now and I love it and I can't wait to get the other one done!!!
