I had always considered myself not much of a "piercing" type of person. When I was 17 I started with my first my nose, a pretty painless piercing. After that I figured every piercing you could get would be pretty painless, and this was coming from someone who asks nurses to use butterfly needles when she gets her blood drawn. So I recently went on vacation to Hawaii for my graduation present and while I was there my sister got her septum pierced. I was feeling really comfortable with the piercer Chris so I asked about maybe getting an industrial done, somehow we reached the topic of nipples. Having a weird obsession with my breasts I decided "Screw it, if I'm going to get pierced, I'm going all out." So Chris took me to the back, closed the blinds and had me sit down and remove my shirt. As I sat there breast hanging out I let my fears take a hold of me and I started freaking out. Really the scariest moment of the whole process is watching them take out the needles and everything because you know its going to happen. Then he had me stand up and "let gravity take control." I stood there and watched him as he stared intently at my nipples. It was actually a turn on. So he marked them and I looked down at them and okayed where they were. I sat back down and Chris told me that he had to make my nipples hard, so he took these Q Tips that had some like alcohol on them and started rubbing them in circles, I had to say that was pretty hot. But that's when the fear about what was going to happen really set it. I watched as he turned around grabbed a little cork thing and came back to my chest.

My heart started beating so fast and I tried telling myself to calm down but it didn't work. I knew he was going to tell me to breath in and out because each of my other piercers did that when I get my nose and my navel done. So right then Chris says "Breath and breath out really deep." I did it twice and on the second time while I was breathing out I felt the needle rip through my flesh and it burned! I didn't think that it would burn as much as it did. I cussed my butt off, it hurt like hell. He put the little corky thing on the end of the needle and then he moved on to my right nipple. He said are you ready and I said yeah and he told me to breath again and this time I don't think he waited till the second time, honestly I was in a daze. The needle went through again and it hurt worse than the first time. It was a pain that just burned. That is really the only way to explain it. A burning sensation. So Chris got the jewelry and put it on and of course my nipples were bleeding, I asked if it was normal and Chris said yeah its your nipple. I was pretty freaked out.

But after I had the jewelry in and was standing in front of the mirror I realized it was worth it. They looked great, they were perfectly straight and looked cute. After I got them pierced Chris put some gauze or something in my bathing suit top so I wouldn't bleed all over and that was that. Well my chest was throbbing and I couldn't sleep on my stomach for like a week. Chris my piercer recommend that I use sea salt and water to clean my piercings and Dial. It's been like three weeks since I had them pierced and they are healing fine. They don't even hurt anymore at all. I wash them twice a day with a shot glass of sea salt and water and once a day in the shower with Dial. The first couple of days I got some really bad crusties and blood around the jewelry because I was sleeping on my stomach by accident but they're fine. The throbbing pain I experienced after I got the pierced last two days maybe but that was it. And looking back it wasn't such bad pain that I would never do it again. In fact I am actually looking forward to my next piercings.

I would say the most important thing for anyone who is getting anything pierced is that you feel comfortable with the person that is piercing you. Chris was a nice, great guy, who made you calm down before you did something that was very nerve wracking. He did his best to keep my mind off of the pain aspect and on the great aspects of the piercing. I would recommend getting pierced by him to anyone I met, he had a great portfolio with some awesome work in it.

As for how the piercing is working out pleasure wise: I Love it!!
