At A Glance Author anonymous When A month ago Artist debi Studio illustrator tattoo Location dallas ga I have wanted to have my nipples pierced for years now, but never had the "balls" to do it. I have had many other piercings done over the years, but something about my nipples just, for me, seemed very painful. I did alot of research on the web, including your site, which might I add is totally awesome. The info on your site comes in very handy for anyone who is thinking about any aspects of body mod. I read the stories over and over about everyones own experiences, and thought that if all these people can do it then I can too.The stories on your sight gave me enough courage to suck it up, shut up, and get it done.
I got a tattoo from the Illustrator, and loved the work and loved the shop. It is very clean, and calming. I called them up and talked to Debi about everything, she was so sweet and professional. She answered all my questions to my satisfaction.I must have been on the phone with her for half an hour a least, but she talked to me as if I were a good friend. They have been busy opening up two more shops and remodeling the store in Dallas but she was very friendly and took her time with me.She calmed my nerves alot, and since she was a female and she has had hers pierced too, I was totally ready.
I went in on a Sunday, waited for a very short time, then was called back to the piercing room.Debi first sat me down and told me everything she was going to do. She showed me the diffrent options I had as far as the jewelry, and I picked out what I wanted. Then her assistant came into the room for the piercing, she was totally cool and said she has her nipples pierced also. She told me about her own experiences and how she did the first piercing herself, which she did not recommend to anyone. Then she said she got it redone by a professional. We talked a while about all things piercing, then everything was ready for me. Debi cleaned everything off, opened up the needle and equipment in front of me, wiped me down, marked the placement gave me the mirror so I could see if I was happy with the placement and I was, and I oked it. I laid down on the table, and she covered me with a paper gown so I would feel alot more comfortable. She asked me if I was ready , and it was yes. She told me to breathe in, exhale and in the needle went. Holy Shit!!!!! I thought my nipple had been ripped off. I let out a few selective words, and actually ended up laughing at myself. Anyway, the feeling was more of a burning pain then a stabbing one. The ring went in and the needle came out, again HOLY SHIT!!!!! Debi made sure I was OK, and again calmed my nerves. She asked if I wanted the other one done, and I said, hell you only live once, go for it. She moved to the other side, got everything ready, told me to breathe in, exhale, and lit me on fire. Ring in, needle out. Done. Debi gave me the mirror again, and I looked at the end result, and a big smile came over my face. I was so excited. She carefully cleaned off the areas where she had marked me up, it had looked like a grid before. She is very precise with her placement. She told me how to care for them during the healing process.I was given some sea salt and a aftercare sheet. Debi told me to call her anytime for any question that I had or any problems with the healing. She is very stri"\Ãw€ë ct about aftercare.
It has been a month now, but everything is going great.Sleeping has been a bit tricky because I am a stomach sleeper and I have found that wearing a sports bra has helped out alot. Also trying to keep my husband off of them is sorta hard too. The girls hurt for about a day or two after that faithful Sunday, but the end result is pure beauty. I am so in love with them. For anyone who is thinking about nipple piercing or any other piercing, just go do it. The pain is temporary, but the result is worth it. If you live anywhere near the Dallas Ga. area, go to the Illustrator Tattoo for piercings or tattoos. They are fun, friendly, professional, and very clean and sterile. If not, just do your research, call and ask questions, look at the shop, and feel good about it. This is not the first nor the last piercing, many more piercing and tattoos are yet to come.
