OK...so after contemplating for many months about getting one or both nipples pierced I finally got up the courage to go on Wednesday (9/28) to Primitive Impressions, the only place I will trust with my piercings. So I go there and I'm all ready to go. Adrenaline pumping, palms sweating, anyways...I get there and from a distance I can see that the studio was dark. Not a good sign. Turns out the piercer, Jason, was home taking care of his wife for the day because she was sick. So I immediately thought of the next possible day to go do it which happened to be Saturday (yesterday).

So Saturday arrives and I called to make my appointment for 4 o'clock...now how was I supposed to wait until 4?! I was so anxious I kept calling my boyfriend (who went with me) to see if he was home from school yet.

Well we were on our way over to Primitive in the Village Gate square and to my surprise there wasn't anyone else in the studio except for Jason, who was concentrating on some paperwork when we stepped in. This was strange to me because usually on Saturdays he is very busy. We walked in and he recognized me and asked if we could be helped. All I said was "I'm your four o'clock!". He proceeded to set me up and take measurements then let things sterilize for a few minutes. I had no problem whipping a boob out in front of him because he talks about how many of these he's done and how he's seen it all so it made me feel totally fine being half naked in front of him.

While the jewelry (ptfe barbell with sss balls) was being cleaned I began to get increasingly nervous and was barely listening to what anyone was saying to me. When Jason told me to come into the piercing room I followed and he closed the door as we sat down. He marked me and made sure it was even with my right breast because I eventually want to get that one done soon too. The placement is great by the way. When he was getting everything ready for the piercing, he told me that he was using a different lube on the needle than he usually does because for nipple piercings it tends to burn a little. I was grateful for that. He also said that since my nipples are so well developed that the only place that I would probably bleed would be through the front. I know...weird. This freaked me out a little, but I was so ready and giddy that I just laughed like an idiot for a few minutes.

Jason told me to lean back against the chair and just relax for the actual piercing. I felt him line the needle up with the entry hole that he had marked and got really scared for the pain I thought I was about to experience. I took a deep breath in and on the exhale he pierced. It was strange because I could feel the needle going all the way through. I didn't look down to see him pierce me but I think that the most painful part was either going through the center of the nipple or the exit hole. After that I felt like my nipple went a little numb kind of like "what did you just do to me?!" and I felt no pain after that until the throbbing started about 10 minutes later. Overall I would rate the pain about a 6. I equate it to my inverse navel (which I found pretty painful) but considering it was a nipple being poked I don't think it was that bad at all. I expected worse.

Jason told me prior to the piercing that because I have so many cartilage piercings, he didn't think that I would have a major problem with the pain. He was right, apparently. When I said I didn't think it was that bad with the needle still sticking out of my boob, he said that I was "hardcore". This made me feel a little tough...but I knew it was really of no significance because my nipples are not very sensitive to begin with.

Well I love my beautiful little nipple. The total price was $50 for the piercing and I tipped Jason $5 for the extremely clean, professional experience. I intend to go back soon to get the right one done for half price (a deal Jason offers). My boyfriend likes it too and I can already feel the increase in sensation. I almost forget that I have a right nipple sometimes! As I sit here I can't even tell that I have it. If you're thinking of getting it do it! The pain is minimal. It complements my A-cup wonderfully and I can't wait to go get the right one done next week!
