I caught the piercing bug this year after getting my VCH (vertical clitoral hood) in April and my nose in August. For the last couple of months I've been thinking about getting my nipples or tongue pierced but wasn't sure because of the pain factor. I then found out I couldn't get my tongue because of work [although they allow my nose stud and someone else's lip so it doesn't make sense!] so I decided on nipples.

However, I realised I didn't know so didn't trust the piercer and I wouldn't have been able to go surfing so it got postponed again. I was just planning on waiting till I got paid and in reality doubted I'd actually ever get around to it.
However, this morning my friend picked me up for lunch and said she had to pay a visit to our local piercers [Nick's Body Piercing, formally Capileo - Nick is the best piercer in the area - he's ace!] to get a bar for her lip so I jumped into her car and off we went. On the drive over she suggested I talk to him about getting my nipples pierced because they are inverted and I wasn't sure if I could. When we got there we went to get cash out and I decided I was gonna do it! [with a little persuasion from my good friend]
So she sorted out her lip and then I asked about it. I was given all the information and a form to sign and then it was into the room to be pierced! I dragged my friend in with me so I had someone's hand to crush [haha] and sat down in the chair as Nick prepared it all. He was great, chatting with us and keeping me as calm as possible [adrenalin was flowing and I was almost shaking].
He asked me to take off my top and then cleaned my nipples and sprayed them with an anaesthetic. While we were waiting for that he showed me the jewellery and talked to me about what he was going to, because my nipples were inverted he had to put the jewellery underneath but that was fine. In fact it was cool because now I have normal nipples [I didn't like them before because of inversion]. Then he came to mark them and I was shaking by then and could barely stay still! We got there in the end though and he sprayed them again.
We were wittering on about nothing in particular, commenting on the new studio [it's great - some beautiful artwork in there] and then it was time. My friend came and held my hand while Nick got ready, then he said 'ok on zero', counted down VERY quickly and whoosh the needle went through. I kinda went 'oh, was that it? That didn't hurt!' and was very relieved. It literally just felt like a little pinch to me, minimal pain. Then he came round the other side and repeated the procedure. Again, very little pain. I was scared because I'd read that the second hurts more than the first but it really didn't! I'm still amazed at the lack of pain. [I presume because of the anaesthetic but still]
He then fitted the jewellery [a little jerking but not painful] and we were done! I put on my clothes, thanked him profusely [I already had the aftercare information] and left. Now came what my friend had warned me about [she had had her nipples done years ago] - the aching! We went shopping and it kept aching, it wasn't always really bad, I forgot about it a few times but sometimes it really really hurt, just a throbbing pain like you've stubbed your toe - but your nipples! It's ok now though, I took some ibuprofen which seems to have stopped it.
I had a look when I got home and my right nipple has bled slightly but other than that they're fine. They haven't swollen and now I have beautiful shiny nipples! I wanted them pierced with rings but because they were inverted they had to be done with bars and I can change them once they are healed. In retrospect bars are probably better anyway because they won't move as much as rings might have.
I recommend getting your nipples pierced - they look amazing and it's just something personal for you [and your lover if you are lucky enough to have one!]. I feel euphoric right now - probably the adrenalin still - but it's still ace. And I recommend Nick Branson, he is an amazing guy to pierce you.
So all in all, a good day!
