My New Addition

Being quite a modest young woman, no one would expect me to be the one to have my nipples pierced. This is one of the many reasons I choose this piercing. Also I have slightly inverted nipples so in doing my research, I found that piercing can actually make them extraverted!

The story starts in North Dakota when I was on a trip with work. A fellow co-worker and I were at a party after work was over for the day when we met this girl who was really outgoing. Through the night and the intoxication she informed us that she had her nipples pierced. Since I'd never seen anyone have real nipple piercing in real life, I begged her to show me. She was pretty drunk so she didn't seem to have any problem flashing her shiny CBR's my way. I was fascinated instantly! Normally I saw nipple rings on people with larger breasts and nipples which look great, but I don't have such breasts and I thought they would look hilarious on me since I am not so well endowed. She happened to have breasts that are identical to my size and the rings looked incredibly sexy. It didn't take me long to realize that I wanted them.

I mentioned the idea to my boyfriend because he is normally really against body modification and, as usual he was against the idea. Since we have a long distance relationship, I sort of pretended that I had gotten them done just to see what he would do, at first he was really upset and then confessed that he thought they were really sexy anyway. Then I had to break it to him that I really didn't get it done. Haha. He was just fine with that. He said that if I ever DID get them done, that he would want to be surprised by me not telling him and only realizing that I had a new piercing when he had me naked and alone.

My imagination ran wild and I decided that I was really going to go through with it. The only piercings I had up until this point were two in each lobe and a rook piercing. The rook stung super bad and I was really nervous that the nipples would be a hundred times worse. But a little pain for a lot of gain is what I believe! It was Sunday when I finally decided 100% that I wanted to get my nipples done, so I called a bunch of places in Sioux Falls and none of them were open on Sunday. Thus I waited until Monday when the piercing/tattooing shop that I normally go to was open. I made an appointment with Dan at Affinity Body Art and started to get really nervous. Not thinking about it is what got me through the door and as soon as I met Dan, and realized that I would have to TELL him what I wanted, I was petrified! Finally I let him know that I had an appointment to get my "nipples" pierced and he let me pick out the jewelry. By this time I was almost shaking and on the brink of running to the door if I hadn't already convinced myself that this was the best thing for me!

I went to the back room with Dan and he went over all the care instructions with me before he asked me to take off my shirt and bra. As I did so I felt embarrassed right away, but then I realized that this is his JOB after all. And he isn't here to get pleasure from seeing me half naked. Comfort came over me and I just stood there partially naked while he made my shy nipples come out from their hiding place and marked me. He told me that he marks people while they are standing because otherwise they turn out to be sideways. Interesting bit of information I hadn't found in all my researching! So when he was finished marking me and showing me I sat down for the pain. By now we were chatting like we were buddies which made me feel much better. He wore different gloves when he marked me than when he was preparing the instruments, which was also comforting. All the tools were taken out of sealed bags and he let me know that they were all autoclaved and that is why they can't use acrylic jewelry (it can't be autoclaved).

I was so nervous when he clamped my nipple that I thought I would yelp. Soon I felt the sharp pain of a needle sliding through my nipple and it was worse than I remember my rook being, except I couldn't hear it. Then as soon as he slid the curved barbell into it, the pain was gone. It was so relaxing to sit there and look at my new nipple ring that I wasn't even scared for the second one. This was a mistake because the second hurt way more than the first did. OUCH! I even let a soft whimper escape my mouth to which Dan asked if I was still ok. Haha! Yes, yes. I was ok and I had two beautiful new nipple rings. And for the first time in my life, I actually had real nipples! I couldn't have been happier with them and I am so incredibly thankful for Dan to have done my piercing and been so professional about it. I made sure to give him a nice tip. Today is the second day I have had them and I found it more comfortable to sleep on my tummy last night without a bra on. Since I have modest sized breasts, its easy for me to go without a bra. What a fun treat to be able to see my new barbells inside my shirt. They are definitely sexy and my boyfriend doesn't know yet! Hopefully I see him this weekend and let him see the new nipples!!

Over all the piercing hurt, but its beautiful and makes me feel so much more confident about my previously shy nipples. They are now two day old piercing and they haven't leaked or bled at all.
