Hey everyone. First off yesterday Sept. 10 was my 18 birthday and I decided that was the day I wanted to get my nipples pierced basically because I couldn't wait anymore. I have been researching a lot for about 4 month before I got it do. My boyfriend was strongly against it but it was for me a no one else so I didn't care.

So here it goes.

I traveled all the way to Philly with my boyfriend, about an hour from where I live, to get pierced at infinite because of recommendations and from my own research I knew they were an excellent place. The piercer's name was Lysa who traveled all the way from Canada to appear as a guest piercer for 2 weeks at infinite. She has 7 years of experience in piercing which made me extremely comfortable along with the fact that a female would be doing the piercing.

I walked into infinite, which was beautiful inside and out and the man behind the counter asked me what I wanted done. I told him and he asked for my id(check #1) then he had me fill out the usual forms and asked me if I had eaten anything all day (check #2) I told him no and he told me I had to have a full meal inside of me before I got pierced so I wouldn't pass out during or after the procedure. He also told me that the shop does not pierce with anything smaller than a 12g (check #3) because anything smaller has the chance of rejection, migration, or the possibility of being torn out. So after I picked out my jewelry which was 12g surgical stainless steel barbell with metallic green beads the end and paid which came up to about $114 (I know you are all thinking a little expensive but I paid extra for the colored beads and for the great service) I left to get some food. On my arrival back to the shop the piercer was waiting for me she introduced herself and took me back to the room which was exceptionally clean. She cleaned the table put a disposable napkin down which looked like the napkin a dentist clips around your neck when cleaning your teeth. She then put all the supplies out and opened them in front of me (check #4). She asked me to take my top and bra off which I just slip down to my stomach and then she cleaned my nipples and areolas. We she answered all my questions and we chatted a little bit (check #5) while she marked me which took about 5 min. she wanted them be very precise and accurate. Through out these procedures she changed her gloves three times (check #6). Then I laid down on the dentist looking chair while she clamped my first nipple.

Now the good part. The clamp did not hurt at all. She asked me to focus on my breathing and then on the third exhale stab. It felt like an intense pressure. I felt it push through all the layers of my nipple about 3 and it was over. The jewelry did not hurt going in. The pain subsided and she asked me if I was ready for the second one. I said no but go ahead. She clamped the second one and I started breathing in and out and then OWWWW. The second one felt like an intense sharp pain. She slide the jewelry in which didn't hurt again. Thank god it was over. I didn't scream or move although my boyfriend told me I made up my face for the second one. The pain was gone now and I was left with two beautiful diagonal nipple piercing. I was so happy they were and still are perfectly straight. She gave me a pamphlet on the aftercare and I tipped her 20 dollars and thanked her. She gave me a hug and told me I was her best customer (check #7). I showed my boyfriend who was standing in the corner the whole time and he loved it after being so against it.

So all in all I would do it again in a heartbeat. Yes it was painful but bearable and the results are just gorgeous. So go and do it. I recommend infinite in Philly and strongly recommend Lysa the guest piercer from Canada. She says she visits every year go to the site www. Infinitebody.com and find out when she is coming back. Thanks for reading.

Some advice. Make sure you go to a clean shop that performs all the steps that I listed. Make sure you are comfortable with the piercer and they answer all of your question. Make sure you research beforehand. Go to a piercer with experience and who is a professional because the pierce at a shop does not mean they know what they are doing. Clean and take good care of your piercing. You don't want your nipple to fall off. And lastly, have fun and enjoy your piercing and experience
