I have always been attracted to body modifications such as piercings and tattoos but I had only gone as far as getting my ears and nose pierced. While I was studying abroad in India I mad a good friend out of a girl who was there with the group, she had several different ear piercings and her belly button done, she also had a genital piercing. I loved the thought of having a piercing like that, one that only I and those whom I wanted to know about would obviously know about.

I had considered them before but to actually see pictures was even more exciting. I did a lot of research on them and read tons of the stories.
When I finally got home in December from India I had convinced my fiancé to let me get my right nipple pierced. I told him he could make it his Christmas present to me and he agreed. He had a room mate who had had many piercings done before, including his nipples, and he told me that those were the worst, worse then his Prince Albert! I figured if that was the worst then I will be prepared for anything afterwards.
When the day finally came to get my piercing we went to a place in town that charged $25 dollars to pierce anything. We went into the place which really looked like a dump on the outside but was even worse on the inside. There were all sorts of weird candles and stuff that had been burned on the inside and it almost looked cultish.
The piercer was busy with another costumer when we came in but she finished up quickly and then it was my turn. I told her what I wanted and filled out the paper work. When she was ready she called me to the back and told my fiancé he couldn't come and watch.
She cleaned my nipple while explaining what she was going to do and gave me a sucker to suck on so I would be les likely to pass out. We talked a lot while we were getting ready to do the piercing. She was super cool and had an awesome attitude for someone who could be my mom. When she was ready I took the three deep breaths and the needle went in, it kind of felt like a pop in the skin. It didn't hurt but it did take the breath out of me for a split second from the shock. She cleaned it up and bandaged it and we joked about getting my fiancé to come in and get his penis pierced.
After we paid her we took of to get some pizza for dinner, my fiancé had a HUGE hard on. He said he wished he could have watched me get it done.
On the ride home in the car I started to feel the pain. I am well endowed in the chest area so every little jiggle was painful. My fiancé thought it was funny and would find every possible way to get my boob to hurt...not very nice. When we got back to his place I peeked into the bandage to see how it looked, it was so cool to look in and see the shinny metal going through my nipple. The next morning when I took a shower and cleaned all the icky stuff off it and I almost passed out in the shower, I had to have my fiancé come in and give me a candy cane to suck on so I wouldn't faint.
I have had my piercing for just over 6 months now and it is so much fun to have it played with. My fiancé is now my husband and he loves to play with it along with some of my girlfriends. I got pierced with a 14G horse shoe but I recently switched to a barbell with UV reactive balls. It took the nipple a day to get used to the barbell and it bled a little because of the change but it felt so much better. I loved how the barbell looks too. The barbell is way sexier then the horseshoe and so much more comfortable.
Well, if this piercing is supposedly the most painful or one of them then bring on the rest because it was really not that bad and it was so worth it in the end. I do not plan to get my left nipple done to match it because I like having one of each but there are a lot more piercings I would like to get done next, maybe the vertical clitoris hood...
