One of my good friends went and got her nipples pierced, she apparently had been wanting to get them for a long time. After she got them done, she showed them to me and I thought they looked really rad. So I decided that with my next paycheck I was going to get mine done also. My parents haven't really liked all of the piercings I have gotten, but oh well. I'm my own person right?

Well I got paid... And proceeded over to the hole look (where I spend a lot of my time, not that I have a lot of piercings or tattoos, I just seem to be there a lot). I told the chick at the front desk what I wanted done and proceeded to wait. While I was waiting I talked to a guy whos girlfriend was in the back getting the same thing done. She came out while I was still waiting because she chickened out. That sort of made me wonder weither or not I really wanted to get my nipples pierced.

After waiting for what seemed forever (about 30 minutes...) I followed Andrea into her room in the back. She told me to take my shirt off and get comfortable. I took off my coat and rolled my tank top down and waited for her to get her pen ready to mark on my nipples. After asking if I wanted barbells or rings (I chose barbells), she looked at the shape of not only my breasts, but also my body and decided that it would look best if we pierced them at a little bit of an angle to flow with my body. She also said that it would make them more individual than just a normal nipple piercing.

She took a long time making sure the dots on my nipples lined up just right. (Andrea by the way is an EXTREMELY good piercer, she has done most of my piercings) After she got the dots in the perfect spot, she had me look at them in the mirror and see if I liked them. I think I was to excited to get them done and just glanced and said "Ya." She then told me to lay down and get comfortable. Comfortable ya right, I was nervous as heck!

The clamps hurt a little bit when she put them on, but the pain subsided. She told me to take a deep breath in and exhale really hard. RIP! The first needle was through. "Wow," I thought to myself, "That didn't hurt as bad as I thought" It hurt, but the pain now was more of a hot burning sensation. Breathing really hard also helped curve the feeling of the needle going through. I looked down to see the needle hanging out of my nipple and I thought "What the hell did I get myself into?" She slid the jewelery in, and off came the needle. "OOOHH I LOVE IT!!" It was love at first sight! The second piercing hurt more than the first, mostly, I think, because I knew what was coming. When she was done I looked in the mirror and decided that I now had a favorite piercing. I tipped Andrea and went on my merry way.

When I got into my car I was shaking thinking to myself "OMG I just pierced my nipples!" The pain was more intense as I drove home, but putting pressure on them made them feel a lot better. While I was driving, people probably thought I was crazy just pushing up against my boobs, but I didn't care, it felt good.

Cleaning them hasn't been a problem, I just wash them in the shower and then spray a little sea salt on them. I did the warm sea salt soaks for about a week and then just went to the spray. The best feeling for the first few weeks is to have pressure on them, it makes the pain subside. Laying on my stomach on my bed or just cupping my hand over them helped a lot. Every once in a while I still do a warm sea salt soak to get some of the crusties that can build up (yuck!).

6 months later, I'm still very happy with my nipple piercings. No infections or anything. Although, I work at a daycare center and sometimes the kids like to grab my nipples, and that hurts a little!!

I reccommend nipple piercings for just about anyone. If you have a higher pain tolerance. My friend Victor said that he raised up off the table because it hurt so bad. And I have a friend Victoria that passed out after she got them done. I absolutely love mine and so do most people that have seen them!
