I had been interested in piercing for a long time, but I just never gotten around to actually getting one. Finally the day came when I got the money and the balls to actually get a piercing. I had always known that I wanted my nipples pierced. I thought the piercing looked beautiful on everyone I had seen with it. To me the piercing was sexy and sensual. It was a good way to accentuate my favorite asset.

I didn't want to go alone so I recruited a friend to go with me. I called a well renowned shop in my area ahead of time to make an appointment. I was excited to find out that they could fit me in on that very day. I was really nervous because I knew it was going to hurt. I was also super excited because I had wanted this piercing for a long time.
We got to the shop in the evening and it was pretty deserted. We were greeted by a girl with spiky hair and a lot of tattoos and piercings. My friend decided that she was going to get her belly button pierced, but I wanted to go first. I was afraid for a second that I would chicken out if I didn't, but I was determined to get my nipples pierced.
I followed the girl into the room and we shut the door behind us. The room was sparkling clean. I was impressed. She asked me to remove my shirt and bra and sit in the chair. I am a little bit of an exhibitionist so I was pretty at ease. She asked me to sit up straight while she marked me. Then she let me get up to look in the mirror to see if I was satisfied with the placement. She made the dot on the right side of my right nipple a little larger than the other dots. I commented on this but she said it wouldn't make a difference. I got back in the chair tried to get mentally prepared to get pierced.
She decided to start on my left nipple. The clamps came out and she clamped them to my nipple, which hurt a little. I laughed because it was pretty funny to see clamps hanging from my nipple. I felt like I was in the torture chamber. She changed her gloves and got the sterilized needle out of its package. She was ready to pierce me. She told me to take a deep breath and she would pierce me when I breathed out. I closed my eyes and breathed in and out. Ouch! It really hurt. I had never been pierced any where other than my ears so I wasn't expecting that much pain. However, it was such a rush of adrenaline that I would be turned on to piercing for the rest of my life. I looked down at my new piercing and I thought it was beautiful. It was just what I wanted.
Then it was time for my left nipple. She went through the same preparations as she did with my right nipple. The clamp went on, the gloves were changed and the needle was taken out of the sterile packaging. I took a deep breath and let it out and I was pierced a second time. I couldn't wait to see how they looked. I looked at my left nipple and realized that it was a little crooked. The bigger dot actually did matter. I asked the girl about it and she got king of pissy. She said she thought it looked fine, but if I really wanted her to she would repierce it, but she would have to charge me for the extra jewelry. I looked at it for a while and decided that I don't think I could handle the pain again, and I certainly didn't want to pay extra to have her mistake fixed. So I let it slide. Looking back now, I wish I would have just had her to repierce it. My piercer gave me an aftercare sheet and some pads to put in my bra. Then it was my friends turn to get her navel repierced. It was pretty gross. A big chunk of scar tissue popped out when the needle went through. I paid for both of our piercings and we were on our way.
We got home and started to get ready to go out for the night. I took a shower and took great care to be gentle while cleaning my piercings with anti-bacterial soap. Cleaning my piercings hurt more then getting them. It was an excruciating burning pain. I didn't know about sea salt soaks at the time. I think that would have made the healing process much easier. I kept pads in my bra for a couple weeks and cleaned the piercings three times a day with the anti-bacterial soap. The healing process took what seemed like forever. I would get crusties all the time and sometimes they would get pushed in the piercing and I would feel a really deep pain in my breast.
I loved my piercings, but my left nipple always gave me trouble. It slowly started to migrate out and after a lot thinking I decided to take it out. I really had a hard time retiring it because I really loved having them both pierced. After I took it out I went back to the shop where I was pierced. I talked to the main piercer there and he told me that they had to let the girl that pierced me go because she kept screwing up peoples piercings. Then he offered to repierce for me for free. I wasn't ready that day because I was there to get a genital piercing and didn't think I could handle both in one day.
I still haven't gotten it repierced, but I plan to do so in the near future. I feel naked without having both of my nipples pierced. I feel like I am really missing something. I can't wait to get it repierced so I can feel whole again.
