Well, to start off this amusing little adventure tale, some background details. I have had three piercings before which I loved so much. I think they made my face a more interesting thing to look at. Others would disagree. These piercings were; 2 in my left eyebrow and one labret. Due to circumstances beyond my control they all had to come out, which sucked! I was headbutted and my eye swelled up and the eyebrow piercing had to come out, whether I liked it or not, which i DID NOT!! Anyway, recently i've been thinking about getting another piercing. After careful decision making I narrowed it down to either my diath or my nipple. I decided on my nipple 'cos I don't like my ears and wouldn't want to attract attention to them. I came on this site and read some stories about the procedure and everything just to get some information etc, and made my mind up completely. For some reason though I was very nervous about it. My mate knew I was and he was being optimistic about it, saying "whats the worse that could happen?". He was so right, the whole experience is nothing to worry about. My labret hurt more and that was more pleasure than pain! Is that wrong? oh well. Anyway, onto the main event of the evening ladies and gentlemen...
At A Glance Author Chris Contact clowe_sk8@yahoo.com When It just happened Artist Rob Studio Studio 9, Southend-on-Sea Location Essex, UK After about two days thought I decided to book my appointment. I always go to the same piercers, Studio 9, because they are very friendly and professional. My appointment was made for the same day, Thursday 16th September at 2 o'clock. My mate steve came with me just through sheer boredom and the prospect that he may have to drive my car if the pain was too much for me. The seatbelt did chaff a bit but nothing too unbearable. Once we arrived me and steve went through the big glass entrance, told the receptionist who I was and what I was there for (she was lovely by the way) and went upstairs to sit in the waiting room. (Downstairs is a hairdressers and upstairs is a piercer and tattooist). Sounds strange, but works very well. You have to see it or it just sounds cack. Its a new location for them and its looking good! Although they are always professional they didn't have the best reputation because they were in the same building as a hairdressers. I digress, back to the story. After about 10 minutes Rob, my piercer dude, walks out with his usual "haha im gonna be pushing a piece of metal through you" smile. Smug, but always welcoming, in a really odd way!
After a brief catch-up chat, he tells me to take my shirt off and lay down on the biggest bed type thing you will ever see. He shows me all the equipment he's going to be using and then gets cracking with the modding. He puts the clamp on, which didn't hurt at all which was surprising. It was cold, but it could have been worse! As soon as the clamp was on he got straight to it. I was expecting so much pain but all there was was a slight pinch. The needle was through before I knew it. He put the jewelry in pulled it back through again. This did hurt slightly, felt like there was quite a bit of friction, but nothing I couldn't bare. My friends face was more screwed up and horrified looking than mine, and he was just standing there!some people aren't meant for greatest, he's one of them.
He went over the after care instructions and we spoke some more. Ill give him his dues, he does make you feel very comfortable. Anyone reading this who lives near there I advise you to go there 'cos its the best in the area. Its been a day and a half since I got it and im so happy with it. Im definitely going to get the other one done as soon as I can afford it. Seriously though, if anyone wants their nipple pierced, do it! Its no-where near as painful as people make out, and thats the gods honest truth!
The only problem so far is that I was listening to my mini disc player and the earphone cable caught it. but that could have been a lot worse. Oh yea, and any hairy people who get it done, please do yourself a favor and shave around the area. He put a plaster on afterwards which had to stay on till the next morning and that hurt ripping that damn thing off. It hurt more than the piercing itself. I am not partially bald around my knew work of art! oh well im still beautiful :) hehe.
The next piercing I want, other then the other nipple, is a unicorn! That'll be so good!
Cheers for reading my...interesting...story!
