I had debated getting my nipples pierced for a long time. John at Highland had pierced my tongue back when he was working at another shop in fern creek so when a few buddies of mine stopped off at the tattoo shop to check out the work they did I thought maybe it was time to get something done. He had done a good job on my tongue so I thought what the hell. He was busy in his room on the computer doing something so I had to wait a little while. I had always thought about getting barbells but I wasn't sure if I would be able to because I know one place in town usually only lets you get pierced with rings.

It wasn't long after I had thought about just leaving a girl came down the stairs and asked if I needed anything. I told her I wanted to get my nipples pierced and she smiled and said sure no problem. She yelled up to John and let him know he had a piercing. I asked her the different option I had as far as jewelry and she pulled out examples of everything they could do that came with the price. As it turns out the girl was who John is teaching how to pierce so I had the options of getting both nipples done at the same time instead of one then the next. She said it would get it over in one hit and I wouldn't be able to chicken out of the second one. She calmed me down quite a bit making me laugh and being so informative. I was a little nervous about having her pierce me but she seemed to know what she was doing and the way I figured if she was hot enough were id just come back and let her redo it. I filled out the paperwork and paid the cash. She walked me upstairs and into the piercing room.
John was still on the computer so she told me to sit down and she would clean me up. I decided to go with barbells Like I origionally wanted and she carefully laid out all the stuff she was going to use to do the deed. She first rubbed me down with iodine. Then after that some other wipe which I really don't know what it was. About that time John got off the computer and marked the positions of where the piercing would be. After he was sure that the marks were right they both clamped my nipples. The hottie ( I never asked her name) told me to focus my breathing and take a deep breath in slow then let it out. Her voice was very calming so for a second I forgot about what was about to happen. Then I heard John count down quietly. 3.2.1. Then the worst pain of my entire life lasted for about a second. The female piercer again told me to continue breathing. The jewelry went in. The clamps came off and it was over. John went down stairs to get a paper on how to take care of it. I started to feel a little like I was going to pass out so the girl laid me back in the seat and raised my legs. She came back with a popsicle of the color I requested and put a damp paper towel on my forehead. She explained that it was normal and that I would be fine. I stayed a little longer after I felt better just so I could have her nurse me a little longer. I took a look in the mirror and gave my stamp of approval.
She explained how to take care of it and gave me a card just in case I had any questions. I started to feel dizzy again so she sat with me on the couch until I was able to gain control of myself. She was worried that I wasn't okay so she went next door to the pizza parlor to get my friends to make sure I would get someone to drive me home just in case I got dizzy again. I can't think of any other shop that would have done that for me.
She did a perfect job. Not only did she exceed my expectations but she was really friendly and helpful and made the whole experience that much better. I haven't had any problems with it at all. I totally recommend going to her. She may not have as much experience as everyone else but she has talent and makes you feel at home. I plan on going back for a few other things as soon as I can.
