I first had my nipple pierced last year and although I feel it was done properly and i was very happy with it at the time, it slowly dawned on me all of the problems wrong with it. First of all it wasn't straight, second it didn't seem deep enough and third it just wouldn't seem to heal, I told myself that if it hadn't have healed by January then I would take it out and maybe get it re-done in the future.

I accepted that it would now be time to take it out. I cried. I hated my boob without it and it felt just like any other boob- which is not how i wanted one of my girls to feel.
Today, I went shopping with my friend and we decided on the train there that if I had enough money by the end of the day then we would go to Access and go and get my nipple pierced. However, after looking through a few shops, I got bored and we decided that now would be the time to go and get a needle jabbed through one of my twins.
As I was walking down the street there I could feel the nerves kicking in- would it be ok to get it re-pierced? would it hurt? would they numb it? I walked in and even though I've been in there before it still amazes me at how nice and clean it is in there. I stood at the counter and the guy in front of me was just about to get his ear pierced, when asked what I wanted done, I told him nipple re-piercing and asked me how long I had it done for when it as first done and how long ago it was when I took it out. After answering, he said that it should be fine but to give him a few moments to go and set up and left me to fill in the consent forms.
After I had handed these into Danny at the counter, he told me to go on upstairs as the boy getting the pierced ear had finished. I left my bags with Kylo, and walked up those stairs to the piercing room. Now, I had never been pierced in here before and was wondering what the stud itself would look like. It was absolutely spotless- cleaner than anywhere I have ever been I think- and I mean in the world! I couldn't help noticing how nice the floor was. I sat down and the man told me to take my top off so he could check everything out. He rubbed my nipple to check how much scar tissue had been left behind form the previous piercing and luckily there was hardly any so he thought that it would definitely not be a problem. After this, he gave me an aftercare sheet to look at beforehand which i think was a good idea because afterwards I was so hyper I don't think I would have been able to read it! then he went through it with me and explained it all in more detail. After all this delay it was then time for the needle.
He asked me to stand up and got out a marker to mark where would be the best place to pierce. He said it was pretty much spot on from last time it had been done but that he wanted to move it back slightly as it would help to avoid scar tissue. Then I laid back down on the dentist styleeee chair and had him clamp me and spray me with that magical wonderful freeze spray. It does burn at first but I'd rather it burn than hurt is what I said to him. He then said in a really soothing voice- just relax now while I pierce and before I could even say sorry I didn't hear you, I felt a pushing on my nipple and it was done. I couldn't believe it had been so easy yet again! The only bit that was a bit stiff was when he pulled the needle out and put the PTFE bar in (I chose this kind of bar because I feel that last time the BCR didn't help my healing and I would recommend that anyone having their nipple pierced consider this as an option or at least ask their piercer)
I hopped up off the chair and looked in the mirror at my new, now beautiful once more nipple and I fell in love all over again! That and my lip piercing's are my favourite ones and I cannot believe that I took one of my favourites out for a boy- what a dick (ill let you work out whether i mean me or the boy!) I put my top and bra back on and went downstairs to pay. Afterwards they give you a bright orange bag which has your aftercare details in again and a certificate saying what you've had pierced, your name and who did it. It is officially the nicest place i have ever been pierced and would like to think Danny and John (i hope its their names!) for making my experience such a pleasurable and relaxed one!
