A short explanation of the title:

I can't explain why they were so willing to throw literally hundreds of dollars at me, but I'm not complaining. Anyways...
I met a girl on New Years Eve 2002 and we hit it off instantly. Everything in common- just listen to the first half of any emo song and, that was us. Anyways, we talked on the phone constantly since she lived 3 hours away.(I'm in SPFLD,OH and she's is/was[depending on when you read this] in Bowling Green, OH.)
So, she keeps begging me to visit but, I'm a broke-ass mofo, so I tried and tried to explain that I didn't have the funds. She got frustrated and said she'd pick me up and buy me a piercing because her friend would give her a deal(he is a professional though, no back-alley shit for me). How could I pass that up?
So, the week before I kept telling and, consequently, explaining that I was going to get my septum pierced and why to everyone around me...
The day finally came and she picked me up. Fast forward to the next morning...
Her roommate decided to get her first tattoo that same day and we were off to On The Edge- which is a great shop and i recommend it to everyone within a few hours of B.G. It's well worth the trip.
I was introduced to Chris and explained that I wanted a septum piercing, but i needed a retainer because my jobs blows ass, and he informed me that retainers couldn't be sterilized and that he could do it with a ball-less hoop and flip it up. I thought that idea sucked so I decided on my nipples, which I have wanted longer than my septum, but, I'll admit, all of the horror stories I've heard about guys getting it done, scared the poop outta me.
I had time to wait and calm myself while he set up, and I decided that I'd get 'em at an angle so, if the pain wasn't unbearable, I could get them in X's. And, if i cried like a school girl with a skinned knee they would still be a little different than most horizontal nipps.
Chris was excited because he hadn't pierced any nipples at an angle. we decided on 14 gauge barbells that are about 3/4s of an inch long. I took off my shirt and "assumed the position" with my back against the wall, holding onto the table for dear life. He told me to relax because he hadn't even marked where the holes would go(great first impression).
He made his marks, I checked 'em, had him move one side, we agreed on the positioning. I, once again, climbed onto the table and grabbed the under-side. He did the whole breathing/count to three and the first needle was through. I let out a grunt/groan, but, it really wasn't that bad. My adrenaline was pumping already and he did the second. We agreed ahead of time to pierce both, and insert the jewelry afterwards.
I didn't bleed very much and I couldn't believe how minimal the pain actually was- I was a little disappointed. I hopped off of the table and put my shirt on...only to leave the room and flash everyone in the shop.
The initial piercing wasn't bad (am i being redundant?), but, afterwards every step I took or bump in the car proved to me that my man-boobs were much larger than I thought. I could seriously feel ever jiggle of my massive titties, and it hurt. Chris told me before I left that I should pick up wife beaters for support.
I wore wife beaters under my clothes (because a wife beater alone is white trash, although I would fit in in Springfield). I only had to wear the wife beaters for a day or two until the pain of my jiggling subsided.
It's been about 5 months and I still occassionally get crusties, but I couldn't be happier. I can't keep my hands off of my own nipples. They are always erect, but I could really give a shit less. They feel so good and when I pinch them, I feel the post of the barbell under my skin and I can't help but smile. I work at a video store and I constantly tap DVD cases off of them, which gets wierd looks considering the solid sound coming from my tits, but I get worse looks when I'm feeling myself up.
Thinking back, before my piercings, I don't think I had any feeling in either nipple, so loss of sensation was definitely not a problem.
I still wanna get 'em pierced again so I finally have my X's...I'm just waiting for another girl who's willing to throw some money my way. If you know one have her call me at 937-...on second thought, I'll just look for myself.
