Piercings have always interested me but it always seemed doubtful that i'd ever actually get any. I had my ears pierced at a very young age as it is sort of a family tradition to get your baby's ears pierced before their christening. I had them pierced the second time when I was about 10 but let them close up after being ridiculed for being different (no one else had more than 1 piercing per ear!) I'm amazed that I ever listened to anybody else, as I am now admired for craving to be not like everyone else ( when it comes to piercings anyway)

The pain I experienced when getting that done was the quickest i'd ever felt. But to be honest, I wasn't expecting any pain at all ( silly I now!) It took a while to heal though as I was rather on the chubby side at the time and had a roll of fat resting on it lol.
My boobs have been big since I hit puberty at the age of 9 or 10 ( I was the only 1 in my class to be wearing a REAL bra!) Due to this I had always dreamt of getting my nipple pierced. This dream lasted until my 15th birthday when I finally decided to get it done.
It was a really hot Saturday and I'd been clubbing for the first time the night before. I went with 4 of my friends ( very girly :-p) I walked into the shop and asked the man if he was piercing today. He asked me what I wanted done and I said my nipple. He asked to see my ID but I lied and said that I was 19 and had been there before so I would be on his books. Luckily he didn't check.
He took me and my best mate into the room where I would be pierced and told me to spit out my chewing gun and take off my top. He was very matter of fact and didn't try to make me feel comfortable at all. Fortunately I'm extremely comfortable with my body and didn't have much trouble standing topless in front of him as he marked my chosen nipple with a biro. He then told me to lie on the bed. He clamped my nipple and froze it with a sort of spray gun. He didn't warn me that he was going to stick the needle in so the initial pain was quick a shock to the system. My nipple started to bleed heavily when he put the hoop in. My blood must have been very thin at the time because I was suffering from anorexia and had lost 4 stone. He put a bandage over my piercing and gave me a leaflet telling me how to clean my new piercing. I then paid him and left.
Blood soaked straight through the bandage and my nipple was throbing badly. I went home and tried cleaning it but blood just poured from the wound for about 2 days. The sawness afterwards I would say was harder to handle than actually getting it pierced. But it was definately worth it . It looks great and the guys love it! ;-) Although some people say that a nipple piercing makes your nipple permanantely erect, with me, that wasn't the case, so don't get it done if thats what your looking for. My nipples are much more sensitive now and I sometimes suffer some discomfort when im really cold! But there are definately more positives than negatives to nipple piercings. I would recommend it to anyone.
I currently have both nipples, my belly button, my tongue and my labret pierced. I also have each ear pierced 3 times. I had my nose pierced 6 months ago but I took it out when people started to say that I looked like Christina Aguilera. I don't want to look like anyone but me! I'm getting my tragus pierced in a couple of days and am hoping to get my clitorus pierced before Xmas. The guy who pierced my first nipple also pierced everything else that I have had done. He is actually quite friendly when you get to know him. Ooh and it isn't just piercings that I love I also have 2 tattoos, a cherry in between my legs( a pressie from my best friend for my 16th birthday) and a rose, uh hum, lets just say in my, uh hum, pubic region (a pressie for my boyfriend at the time!) I think that its definately official that I'm addicted to piercings as I am constantly thinking of what would look nice to get done but I definately know when to stop as I feel that too many piercings can make a girl look butch and unfeminine.
And one thing that is DEFINATELY official, the girl who cares what other people think, is long gone!
