One day while I had just stumbled out of my shower and into my room, I started to think about getting a new piercing. I already had multiple ear piercings, a naval piercing, and a left nipple piercing that wouldn't leave me alone. I decided to re-observe my nipple piercing to decide if I was fully satisfied with it. In the end, I concluded that I wasn't. That nipple piercing had been bothering me. It was too high up, starting to lymph again, and I was beginning to get discomfort from it. I decided something had to be done.

About an hour later, I logged onto my computer and searched BME photos for different nipple piercing options. I decided to get two nipples done instead of just one, but not the standard horizontal way. I wanted them to be diagonal facing done towards my naval piercing, so my breast resembled this design, (\)(/). My piercings were more at an angle than the picture suggests, but one easily gets the ideas. My friend Brenda (who's friend Will is a professional body piercer), decided she was up for the task of piercing my nipples since she had been the one to pierce my left nipple previously. After removing my first nipple piercing, I waited until the end of the day to see Brenda to have the new nipple piercings done.

When I went to Brenda's place, I discussed my idea for my nipples to her. She thought the result would be "cool," so I decided to get it done for sure. We waited a couple of hours to catch up on each other's lives, eat, talk to friends, and read through diaries. Then the fun part came.

Before I go on, I would like to inform the readers of this piece that the process and environment in which I chose to get pierced in were highly inappropriate. If I was of a legal age, I would have gotten my piercings performed professionally, and not as risky. The sanitizers and the piercing props are NOT suitable for healthy piercings, and I highly recommend that if you could get your piercings done professionally, you should. I was simply dealing with the best I could get whether or not that appears ignorant to some readers or not. Brenda has seen many piercing performances take place, so I offered my body to the risks and vulnerabilities of unprofessional body modifying anyway.

I sat in Brenda's bathroom on top of her toilet while she "sanitized" the props with antibacterial soap and rubbing alcohol. She then had me remove my shirt and bra to sanitize my nipples with a germ killer. After that, she took a purple marker and placed the entrance and exit points that the needle (diaper safety pin between 16-14 gauge :-O) would pass through. Once I decided that the markings were to my liking, she asked which nipple I wanted to do first. I recommended my "already been pierced" nipple because I figured if I could deal with the pain of the needle passing through the scar tissue, the next piercing would be less painful. She gave me until the count of three as I practiced the standard breathing techniques and held my teddy bear. Then she shoved the needle through. I winced at the sharp pain. I wasn't unbearable, but it was intense and it had an almost burning sensation. She pulled the needle through and hooked it into place (diaper pin) and proceeded to the next nipple. I followed the same steps but this time the pain was different. It was sharp and intense, but there was less burning. It was odd, but again, not unbearable. She then hooked that needle into place and cleaned up the bathroom mess. My nipples were fine after the first few seconds of the initial piercing process. I always loved how the tips of my nipples felt after they had just been pierced. Pleased, Brenda and I left the bathroom and decided to listen to music.

Later on that night, I got tired of the needles being in my fresh wounds. I thought it would be best to switch them into barbells, but I had made a mistake. While Brenda was on the phone with Will, I managed to fit a 16 gauge barbell through my fist nipple. However the second nipple was a disaster. I didn't have another 16 gauge barbell, so I decided to put a 16g hoop through it. Ah, silly me. I ended up failing miserably and panicked. I told Brenda, and she asked Will what to do. Will said she could probably repierce it (which I'm pretty sure ISN'T good idea but oh well) so she re-sanitized the needle and shoved it through again. The pain was even more intense but bearable, and my nipple felt like it was on fire for the following 10 minutes. The sensation on the tip was very desirable though.

The next day I went to the mall to pick up another 16g barbell. I fit it in later on that night, and within the following 2-3 weeks I bought two 14 gauge barbells and put those in instead. My nipples feel wonderful, and I am pleased at how they came out. I wash them twice a day with antibacterial soap for now because I have no sea salt. So far the results are good, lymphing and discomfort are minimal, and I'm thinking about getting my naval repierced so it's deeper.

My experience was risky and amusing, but like I said, it wasn't safe. My piercings are healthy because I've taken care of them well and will continue to do so. Please, if you would like to talk or ask questions about my piercings or experiences, my aim screen name is XSexyXDiva318X. Thanks for reading my passage and I hope I helped anyone who is looking to get nipple piercings as well.
