Hey there, I am a 27 year old guy who has recently gotten a new start on life. For the past 9 years I have been in the military and have not been able to "express" myself the way I'd like. Short hair, no earrings, etc... I find body modification to increase beauty. I have heard so many stories about piercings and how they increase sensitivity and had been extremely jealous of the people that had them. I would spend time browsing this site and others reading stories, looking at the galleries, and reading every FAQ I could find. The more and more I researched; the more I wanted to explore the world of body modification.
I recently had to spend 18 months in the Mid-East where I had some real eye-opening experiences. I realized that life is too short and I should be able to do what I want when I want. Upon returning to the US, I immediately got my ear pierced. I liked it, however it was not enough. Two days later I was just out driving along and I came across a tattoo/piercing studio. I decided to pop in and check out tattoo designs. I have always loved the look of piercings.
I was immediately drawn to the large display case full of different jewelry. It wasn't long before an associate came to assist me. She asked me if I needed help and without thinking I responded "Yeah I want to get my nipple pierced". She helped me pick out a nice 14 gauge ring and we made our way into the piercing room where she introduced me to Jen. By this time my heart was pounding a mile a minute. I sat down in the chair and removed my shirt. Jen made some small talk to calm me down while she was autoclaving the tools and ring. She then "clamped" a Q-Tip covered in some ointment and benzocane over my left nipple to numb it up a bit and instructed me to hold it in place. After about 3 minutes she brought the tray over. ***DO NOT*** I repeat DO NOT look at the needle. I made the mistake and almost freaked out. I'm not afraid of needles but this thing was scary looking. She yelled at me not to look at it so I just gazed up at the ceiling while she clamped the forceps on. She marked the entry and exit points with a marker and asked if was alright. I gave it my blessing, looked away, and braced myself for the pain that was sure to follow. I am not going to sugar coat anything I figure it is only fair if you know just how it goes. Let me tell you it hurt like heck. The pain only lasted a split second and then an incredible rush came over myself. I was unbelievable calm. My endorphins kicked into high gear and I was taken to a new level. I just laid back in the chair and could only mutter "wow".
I have never felt quite that sensation before. I felt 'lifted" on another level. It was as many have described it before a spiritual sort of experience. It is probably from the mass quantity of endorphins released. I looked down at my nipple and was amazed at how good it looked. I have extremely small nipples with almost no areola. Now that I had a 14 gauge piece of steel running clear through it, it was larger than it had ever been. I had to touch it out of curiosity and to my amazement it was not sore at all. It was actually quite pleasurable. Jen then told me that it will continue to get sensitive as new tissue grows (she wasn't kidding).
That was it... all done. She gave me the aftercare instructions and sent me on my way. After about a week of cleaning it and babying it I was ready to show it off to everyone. It is important that you use some antibacterial soap and antibiotic ointment twice a day to prevent infection. By following the aftercare instructions my nipple healed remarkably. It has been about 3 months now and let me tell you it is AWESOME. My nipples were sensitive to begin with... now they are crazy sensitive. Sometimes my shirt will brush up against my nipple and I get a good "chill". Playing guitar has never been more fun because of it pressing up against my nipple! =) I feel so good about my new piercing and I feel it is the best thing I have done for myself in a long time. Next is my right nipple. I want to eventually get double piercings in each nipple and go up to 10g. Who knows... maybe some day I will get the courage to go below the belt. Stay tuned for more stories!
