I already put my first story up on BME, under another alias. I thought I'd put this one up too.

I decided I wanted to have another nipple piercing. I'd already brought a bar to put in my current piercing, so I thought why not another? I wasn't sure if I wanted the same nipple pierced, but vertically, or, to have my right nipple pierced. I have seen the photos submitted on BME of the multiple piercings, and decided that I would like one. Before making any decision though, I made sure I'd refresh my memory, by researching. It may seem like a waste of time, but, I wanted to go in knowing exactly what was going to happen. Using the BME site is extremely recommended in my opinion.

So today was the day. I got on the bus and mentally prepared myself. I knew what to expect in the pain department, but I was still nervous to say the least. Like last time, the walk to the parlour was an adrenaline rush. Even more so this time because I was on my own as my friends couldn't make it. When I got there though, the place was shut. Disheartened, I thought about leaving it and forgetting about it. Then I thought, as I was ready, and that I wanted it done, I'd make the trek to Birmingham and get it done.
Into The Oasis I went, and luckily, the girl who sold me the bar was working again. So I asked if she could change the bar for me seeing as she was doing my piercing. I also asked her about having a vertical piercing on the same nipple, but she said that there was a risk that the two may integrate. So I decided just to have the right one done. She changed the bar first...then the time came.
I was getting on well with the piercer, and even found out that she had pierced her own nipples. She made me feel calm and relaxed. As my friends weren't there, I thought I would be really nervous without them, but the girl was cool and friendly. Also, I think I was more comfortable as it was a woman piercing me this time. She put the clamp on first, and then froze it, and then the needle went through. I watched the whole procedure, as last time I was looking away. It wasn't as painful as before, maybe that is because knew what type of pain to expect.
Once she had put the bar in and screwed the end ball on, she packed away. I thought she would have put a pad on it as, the other pierce had. I paid my money and walked out to get the bus home. I was so wrapped up in what was going on...that I didn't realise until an hour after the whole session and I was on my way home, that she hadn't cleaned the area before piercing me.

When I was at home, I began to clean it as instructed. But noticed something strange. My piercing was at a slant. One of the balls on the bar was at the bottom of my nipple; the other was half-way up. I thought it was like this because of the angle I was looking at it from, but I looked in the mirror, and closely at it again, and sure enough, it was pierced at a slant. It wasn't painful or anything. I just thought it looked odd. Anyway, I carried on cleaning it with salt water.

24/06/04

Today I woke up, and forgot totally that I had my nipple done the previous day. There was no pain whatsoever, and I wasn't uncomfortable. Cleaning it, I removed the crusty blood, obviously it had bled a little in the night. My piercing still looked odd, but I went out anyway.

As I said in my last story, make sure you RESEARCH. You can never be too prepared. I don't think anybody can stress how much you need to research. It's so much better going in there and knowing what's going to happen, rather than going in there on a whim, and two weeks later, regretting the whole thing.

Also, another thing is, even if some of the stories are bad when you're doing your research, still read them. I know this may seem stupid, and a waste of time, but you need to know ALL the possible outcomes of any piercing, especially ones so intimate. Yes, they may be gruesome, gory and horrible, but so what? They're true.

I'm not trying to scare anyone off getting a nipple piercing. By all means do. It's quite invigorating and heightens sensation let me tell you. But please make sure you know what going on. Getting both my nipples pierced has even given me a little more self confidence. But that's just me. You have to do this for you.

So before I end up sounding like my mother, enjoy getting pierced. I love mine now.
