Nipples. Everybody has them, almost everybody. Well... forget about the "nullo" stuff. So, as far as we all know, everybody has two nipples, male of female. They all look the same pretty much, round and protruding. Why not stick something through them? Hey, a question many have put to the test, including myself.

The she proceeded to say, really out of nowhere, "We should get our nipples pierced." I never really thought about getting mine done. I mean, everybody is doing it, right? Well not everybody. The afore mentioned girlfriend, to remained un-named, and I didn't. I had seen various pictures and seen some in person, but it never really appealed to me until she asked me to.
First, (and I know this is a bad idea, don't follow this method) I used a safety pin. Well, to make it short, the safety pin didn't work. Log story now, I started by boiling a big safety pin in water, a new one at that. Then after sufficient cooling time, I began to clean my right nipple with an alcohol swab. Then lubbed up the pin with Neosporin, and proceeded to push it through. PAIN, what can be described as a freaking chopstick being forced through my nipple. It was far too dull and only created a bloody mess.
After several weeks, I had stumbled across a shop down in Venice, California called "Buzzbomb Tattoo and Body Piercing." Zebb was a pretty cool guy. Had a 2 gauge septum and 8 gauge nipples and ˝ lobes and many more. Pretty cool guy to say the least. The studio is a very clean place, looks like a hospital. Immaculate. The only thing bringing chaos to the situation of cleanliness was the wall of flash, which too was pretty clean. "Streak free" glass cases. So I set up an appointment with Zebb to get my right nipple done. I hung out for about an hour talking about jewelry and cleaning and helped clean up the shop before he closed. Around 10 PM. The appointment was set for next week, this being Tuesday, (so next Tuesday).
So the day finally arrived and I was a little nervous because of what he had told me about big guys passing out from the pain, or shock. But since I have previously pierced and stretched my ear lobes to 00 gauge at that time, I was not too nervous. So he took the needle out of the package laid it on some saran wrap covered bench, along with lube, good old KY, and the jewelry. I chose a 14 gauge 3/4 inch barbell. I don't really like hoops. So he then said to me, "Show me yer tits!" I will always remember that line. I took off my shirt and reclined the "dentist" chair and he proceeded to clean my nipple. he drew the in and out holes on with a sharpie and the clamped my poor little nipple into these big ass forceps. Hurt like hell. Like a vice. By far the most painful part of the whole experience. Then is went fast after he lubbed up the needle. Needle in, jewelry in, clamps off, clean up, and bandaged with gauze and tape. No pain other than the clamp. I paid him the 40 dollars and gave him 2 dollar tip (what I had left). The standard after care spiel and I was off.
I didn't really do anything except sea salt soaks with a little shot glass inverted on my nipple, twice a day. When I woke up and when I went to bed. I only stuck to this for two to three weeks and then I only washed it in the shower with Dial soap once a day. I have continued to do this for the whole time I've had it. Never got swollen or oozed and never bled. It never even crusted. I was extremely pleased with the healing of that nipple.
So since having the right done for about 6 months, I decided to do the left. Seeing him do it made me think, " I didn't look like it took any special training." So I thought I could have my girlfriend do it for me. Now my left nipple is kind of scarred from a burn as a child. So she had to go deeper to make it look even. We bought some jewelry and some needles form a place called Silver Depot in Palmdale, California. The were pre sterilized in little tubes. I got a 14 gauge barbell, the same as the other.
We went home and I took off my shirt and she cleaned me up. I was really turned on by her playing "Nurse" that I didn't even noticed she had marked me and was ready to go. Before I could feel it, the needle was in and she was done. Cool. But the jewelry was a little harder for her to put in and it hurt a little more. But nothing as bad as the clamps on the first nipple. I followed the same cleaning regimen and this nipple also had no complications. Sea salt soaks and Dial soap in the shower.
I am very pleased with the results of my nipples being pierced and currently have them stretched to 12 gauge. I wear 12 gauge barbells in each. My current fiancé loves them and she is considering getting hers done as well. I wait for that day.
