Previous to my nipple piercing, I had already had my eyebrow & my tongue pierced. I decided I wanted to do something a little more 'erotic' so I opted to have my nipple pierced.

I rang the studio & spoke to Matt about the piercing (I wanted to make sure there was no chance of bleeding to death or developing breasts or something nasty like that)! Everything sounded cool so I booked myself in for the next day.
Now I had always experienced a light bout of nerves before a piercing or tattoo but this was a little more severe! I was going to have my NIPPLE pierced...The bit that your drunk mates always latch onto during a generous drinking bout while screaming "NIPPLE CRIPPLE" & then proceeding to laugh themselves silly as you attempt to regain control of your body which has thrown itself into a series of convulsions in an effort to relieve the immense amount of pressure applied to one of your most sensitive bits!
The studio was pretty full so I spent a few minutes outside pretending to look at the pictures posted in the window as I geared myself up for the impending piercing. As luck would have it my eyes happened to land on a large picture of a man's 'freshly' pierced nipple, swollen, red & bleeding...I took a deep breath, fought the urge to flee back to my car & drive away & instead sauntered into the studio looking as cool & as calm as I possibly could.
I spoke to the girl at the front desk & was told that I would have to wait a few minutes while Matt finished another piercing. Those few minutes turned into about twenty five due to the recipient of said piercing being a very nervous young girl who was there to have her navel pierced (Her first piercing). Every time Matt went to begin piercing she would shriek "WAIT WAIT! I'm not ready" This happened about eight times before Matt finally had enough & said, "Okay! You need to calm down, how about you close your eyes & count to three then once you're relaxed we'll try again..." The girl agreed & closed her eyes & began counting, on two Matt pierced!!! She began to wail before realising that it was done & hadn't hurt nearly as much as she expected...I found this extremely amusing until I realised that it was now my turn!
Matt came out of the clean room & took a look at the appointment book then turned to the loose gathering of people browsing through the tattoo designs & asked "Is my nipple guy here?" Most people took a step back, as if he was going to grab anyone if I didn't own up & drag them screaming into the studio to have their nipple pierced...More than one person pulled a painful face & crossed their arms over their chest.
"Yeah...I'm here" I replied, trying to sound as casual as possible. Matt smiled & ushered me into the clean room motioning for me to take a seat in the dentists chair & to relax a bit while he got the necessary equipment ready...Now let me tell you; I 'hate' the dentist...Now, having to sit in a dentists chair while waiting to have a sharp needle rammed through my sensitive nipple was not my idea of relaxing.
I got a little annoyed at myself, I had my eyebrow & tongue done! Neither of them hurt much past the initial sting...You can do this you big pansy! Stop being such a sook & get it over with! The self abasement seemed to work, my nerves disappeared & I relaxed completely, even enough to start a light hearted conversation with Matt as he came back & began arranging the equipment in front of me...I was fine...
I was fine when he marked the spot...
I was fine when he attached the clamp...
I was fine as he opened the sterile packet the needle was in right in front of me...
I wasn't fine when he glanced up at me as he lined the needle up & said "Brace yourself!"...
Needless to say, after that comment I was briefly set aback & did not 'brace myself' as I was told!
In went the needle...
Out through my tightly clenched teeth came something akin to "Goddamnmuthafuckerbastardwhore!"
I've heard people say nipple piercings don't hurt...BULLSHIT! I was sure my eyes were about to vacate their sockets & I'm positive people must still ask Matt today what caused the nail marks in the steel arms of the chair!
But...I will admit that once the ring was in, & the adrenalin hit, it felt fantastic! There's something about how the ring feels when your nipple constricts (like in a cold shower) around it that just...Oooohhhhhh! I actually got a hard on & considered right there & then having the other nipple done, if it weren't for a lack of funds I probably would have.
I had absolutely no problems with it, healed fairly quickly & I love it now. It looks great & feels even better when given some attention during 'cuddles'!
Of course, those generous drinking bouts have become even more dangerous now but I have managed to avoid disaster so far.
I have since had my other nipple done (Hurt just as bad! Although I knew that afterwards it would feel SO good!) A labret & an industrial ear piercing...Nipple still ranks as the most painful...Although I have been considering a Reverse Prince Albert for a few weeks now, not sure if my penis would ever forgive me though...
