I had my nipples pierced about two years ago. This was a complete out of the blue desicion. I just decided one day that I wanted to get them done. I asked a few people about their experiences and i got a lot of positive responses.

I was very nervous at the idea of getting my nipples pierced. Along with all those positive responses, I repeatedly heard a lot about how much it hurt. My best friend told suggested that a piercer could answer my questions better.

That is when i went to see Luaren at Accent Tattoo. I sat and talked with her for a little while. This wasn't my first piercing, but I was still nervous. She talk to me about how long she had been piercing and about her own piercing experiences. She help me decide that I really wanted to do this. Luaren gave me a quick description of the procedure and she answered all my questions. Now it was time to go in the other room. Luaren let my friend come in the room with me which made me feel a lot better. She had me watch as she set everything up. She told me everything that she was doing as she did it. Luaren had a great bedside manner and help me relaxe.

Everything was ready, so I layed down on the table and Luaren cleaned the area. She talk to me the whole time, which made me feel a lot better. She used a reciving tube rather than clamps. It was a lot less painful than clamps. Before she put the needle through she told me to take a deep breath in. Once the needle was through she put the jewelry in. It did hurt but not as bad as I thought it would. It was intense but quick. As soon as the needle was through the pain was gone. It was nothing like what i had built up in my head. That is usually what happens. You tend to think it's going to hurt much worse than it really does. I felt a slight pinch when she put the jewelery in. The second nipple was a little worse, but that was because I was expecting it. Once Luaren was done she checked to make sure I was ok. She warned me that afterward some people get a little light headed. I stood up and checked out my new additions in the mirror. I was very pleased with the results. I was very surprised that the whole thing only took a few minutes.

Luaren told me all about after care and gave me a detailed instruction sheet to take home. She told me to come back if I had any questions or problems. Thanks to the instructions she gave me I haven't had any problems. My nipples were a little sore for a few days afterwards. Luaren told me the best thing that I could do when I went to bed. She told me that the best thing I could do would be to wear a t-shirt to bed. That would hold the rings down so that I wouldn't twist them and hurt myself.

Luaren warned me about migration. She told me that sometimes the body will reject a piercing. It will slowly push its way out. She told me that this wouldn't be a problem if it was caught in time. My right nipple started migrating about a year after i had it done. I had Luaren take it out so it could heal. She had me wait about two months and then she repierced it. I was shocked that there was no pain at all. It felt like she barely squeezed my nipple and it was done. I felt just a little bit of pressure. The after care was the same and there was no real soreness after it was over. It was as if I had never taken it out at all. I haven't had any other problems since then. She has told me all the best ways to clear up an infection and helped me anytime I had a question. I appreciate all the help and I'm sure that it has sved me a lot of trouble.

I have been very happy with all of my piercings. I have seven piercings by Luaren and she has stretched my lobes to 2 gages. Anytime I want new body jewelery, I go see Luaren. She gets me the best quality jewelery for very good prices. I have been very pleased with the service that Luaren has provided. I trust her ability with a needle. I have and will continue to recommend Luaren to friends and anyone that is interested. Anytime someone asks me who did my piercings, I tell them Luaren at Accent Tattoo. Thank you Luaren.
