Ok, well I really wanted my nipple pierced for almost a year. Recently, I just sort of decided that I *had* to have it done, I was bored of all the waiting and I was tired of my own excuses. I also just wanted something pierced, I guess it was a sort of need to do –something- different. None of my friends have it done and I have really liked the way it looks.

It was the last day of school before the Easter holidays. I figured that this would give me more time to get used to it and for it to settle before having to wear a bra.
After school finished, I wondered down to Triple Ace, the studio that did my belly button piercing in December. It was pretty much the only place in Bedford that wasn't full of smoke. It was very clean, and professional and the people were nice. There was also the plus that they didn't ask for ID seeing as I'm not actually 16, and all places around here seem to decide that you need to be 16 or over to be pierced although there is no law in England as to what age you must be before you can be pierced.
So I met up with my friend, Josh, and we went in. A woman greeted me and asked what I wanted done, I told her and she asked how old I was to which I replied 16 (yes, bad me for lying). She then got out the consent form, which I noticed had been updated a little since my last piercing. I filled this out and was directed to the piercing room where the guy was waiting.
I was nervous, as I'm sure many people would be, I was about to get a needle shoved through my left nipple. Thankfully, Josh was allowed to go in and hold my hand. So I went in, sat down on the standard "dentist" chair and watched as the piercer finished preparing everything.
Once he was all done, he politely asked me to "uh get...ready" with vague motions to his chest. He was very professional but still refrained from saying the words "get your boob out". So I obliged and he went to work numbing it with a solution. It was gripping Josh's hand quite hard at this point, it was very cold and I was nervous.
Once he believed it was ok, he clamped it up. At this point I closed my eyes; I didn't really want to see my poor little boob being poked. He then gently pushed the needle through. This hurt quite a lot. Not as much as I thought it would, but it did set off a big red rush of pain. This was over quite quickly and he then got the jewelry, a 10mm BCR, to put through. As he was putting it though, or shortly before, I'm not too sure he asked if I was ok, to this I replied "yeah" at quite a high pitch. Putting the jewelry through hurt quite a bit, but it was all over soon. All though this I was squeezing Josh's hand. I then realized how hard I must have been doing it when it was all done and I looked at his hand. I had managed to turn it red, to my apologies, he responded with, don't worry bout it, I have bad circulation.
So we wondered out and I paid the lady and we were on our way. Beforehand I had bought chocolate and Red Bull. I ate these as we sat in a nearby park. I was so tempted to just pull my top out and look at it. But I managed to resist...almost. We then went back to Josh's. There was very little blood; but then again, this is in comparison to my belly button, which bleed a lot, as in didn't really stop for quite a while.
It has been over a week since it was done, it didn't really hurt after it was done, not as much as I thought it did. But then again, it was sort of tingly, but stinging, I wasn't too sure weather this was a good sensation or not! It seems to be healing faster than my belly button as well, I can move the ring with relative ease and it doesn't light up with too much pain as I clean it. I can also quite happily roll over in the night, brushing it, and not start screaming out in pain.
It is an amazing piercing and a really cool experience; I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. There is also the benefit of the fact neither of my parents know, they hate all piercings, it took me 4 years just to convince them to let me have my belly button done. So basically I'm dead as soon as they find out. But you don't walk around topless do you? I hear you all say. No, I don't. But I just know that somehow they will find out sooner or later.
Funnily enough, I still have the piercing bug, and I'm going in on Saturday to get my tongue web pierced, yet another piercing I can hide. I love my piercings, all 4 of them... even though I have friends with more in just one ear. I guess I see them as something more because I have to battle so hard for them and my nipple piercing is my little secret. It's great, it's a wonderful piercing, I'm really happy with it.
