I never thought about any piercing (apart from my ears) until one of my sister-in-law got that piercing. She lives far from me and she came for a visit. One afternoon, we went to the beach. When we remove our tops, I was so surprised to see that she had her nipples pierced that I could not say anything, but stared! She is not a young chick (45), does not have the perfect body, and there she was with nipple rings. She then told me that she did that after my brother died, as a tribute to him. I ask her many questions, and what was worst, I could not stop admiring her less-than-perfect breast. I could not get over how a woman of that age would expose herself to a man and a needle!!! I told her it did really look nice (I was very honest), but that I would never do that for myself!!!
At A Glance Author nippleodeon Contact nippleodeon@tribalectic.com When Six months ago Artist Tanya Studio 123 Tattoo Location Welland, Ontario, Canada That whole summer afternoon made me thinking about nipple piercing. I didn't know what my husband would think about it or even how to broach the subject!!! One night, after a session of love-making with my conservative but open-to-new-ideas husband of 30 years, I blurted out that I would like to have nipple rings. He was quite surprised, and ask me why... and did not seem too warm to the idea. I explained I wanted to express my creativity, and like the aesthetic and then the eroticity of it. I like the natural look even if I don't have perky breast (natural sagging)-- I don't wear a bra (for health reasons -- cancer prevention) and like to be topfree on the beach.
We never talked about it again, but once in a while, he would tease me about it, touching my nipple, and saying No little rings yet!!! He was sure I would not have the courage to do it.
Well I turned 50 in June, and decided to do it. I researched the subject on many websites, looked at pictures, and decided to go for it. I did not tell my husband. On Sept. 15, I found a female piercer that works from home, and had my left nipple pierced (barbell, 14 gauge). The clamp did not hurt, and I felt a burning pain from the piercing for 2 seconds. I never wear a bra, and that did not bother the piercing during the day or at night. At any point as I uncomfortable. My husband discovered it the next day, and he was quite shocked and surprised to say the least. He was speechless.
The healing was very easy, I almost did not have crusties, neither pain or infection. I kept the wound very clean... but it took about three months. I used Provon, Aloe antibacterial soap and had 3 or 4 soaks.
My husband became quite fascinated with my nipple barbell and it did add lots of pleasure to our sexual life.
Then last week, he said he wanted me to have my second nipple pierced as an Easter gift. I called Tanya, and she did it the next day. I had also brought a nipple stirrup as a change for my left nipple, which was a 12 gauge (which I did not know). So, very unplanned, I ended up with a nipple stretching, and a nipple piercing.
The second piercing did hurt a little bit more than the first, because I knew what to expect.
The nipple stretching from 14 to 12? I did not feel a thing. As a matter of fact, I love it so much, that I decide to go to a 10 as soon as possible and do the same with the right one too after the healing period.
My only regret is not having them done at the same time... I would have been all over.
Now, nobody knows about it... but my husband, my piercer and a friend artist of mine who has done a beautiful water painting of me, that I am printing as a card. She is doing another one painting also right now. If you would like to receive a card, just send me your name (or a nickname) and address at nippleodeon@tribalectic.com and I will mail you one card with her business card since she does commissions. The cards are due to arrive in about 3 weeks.
The other night, my husband was teasing me about a genital piercing... He is leaving for 3 weeks in the summer... so I *MAY* surprise him upon his return with a horizontal and/or a vertical hood piercing...
If you are an older woman considering a piercing, and have questions, pls do not hesitate to write me at my email address. I would also like to hear from older women who went thru the hood piercing, and the nipple stretching. I would welcome your advice.
