I got my right nipple pierced in October of 2002 and it was an incredibly exciting experience. Almost sexual and incredibly erotic feelings came from the moment the piercer stuck that needle in my nipple. I got all of those euphoric feelings that accompany a nipple piercing. All things seemed brighter and more in focus that afternoon. At the time I thought "how cool is this gonna look and feel?". I was soon to find out. My nipple grew in size and sensation almost immediately. Of course I did wait the appropriate time before allowing my girlfriend to play with my newly annointed nipple. It felt like ages before we were doing anything involving nipple play. Finally the time came and it felt like an immediate link to my sexuality. All she had to do was touch my nipple and I was at attention. If she licked it well all the better, I was half way there. But anyway, I stray from my train of thought here.

I didn't know at the time that I would want to stretch my nip being that I didn't have much frame of reference. None of my friends had pierced their nipples and so I had no one to ask. I waited about 6 months to stretch it because I saw how they looked on BME and quite frankly the thought turned me on. After going 12 gauge from the initial 14 gauge I then went up a gauge every month or two until I reached my goal of 6 gauge. It looked terrific but never really healed right. I got a lot of attention at the 8 gauge but it took some time for the 6 gauge to feel somewhat comfortable. In retrospect I didn't get my original piercing far enough back. How was I to know that I would be so turned on to stretching? Also, I went with jewelry that was a little too heavy for a new stretching. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gone back to the guy that pierced it at first to get it stretched.

That leads up to where I am as of December of 2003 (over a year from the first time my right nipple was pierced). Lo and behold my 6 gauge nipple which I was so proud of was starting to migrate out. As much as I hated to admit it to myself the nipple ring was getting closer and closer to the surface of my nipple's skin. If I waited much longer, it would have left a very unsightly scar if it did work itself out. My decision became clear. I had to remove it completely and start from scratch. I felt a bit torn because here was 14 months of TLC gone to hell because of impatience perhaps.

I had that piercing removed and in the last 2 months had both of my nipples pierced at 12 gauge. They are symmetrical at least but far from the 6 gauge I was boasting last summer. They do feel wonderful and I have heeded the advice of the piercer who is wonderful regarding explaining aftercare and so on. As far as recommending a piercer, anyone who is in Rhode Island or nearby would be well to wait and visit Evolution Studios. They are the most clean and concerned body piercers I have ever visited. Joe does a great job piercing in a very friendly environment and they have everything a person could want in terms of jewelry and supplies.

I guess for 2004 I'll be showing off my 12 gauge twin nips at the beach until I can upgauge to something larger next year. I'm set on listening to his advice to upgauge after waiting a year although patience isn't my strongest virtue. I did opt for stainless steel CBRs for my first set of nipple jewelry and will try to keep it light rather than the heavy 6 gauge circular barbell with large steel balls that I was hanging from my right nipple.

In the meantime I was lucky enough to get a birthday tattoo from my girlfriend of one of my favorite mythological figures. I got a tattoo of Pegasus the flying horse on my right buttocks. So in total now I have 2 tattoos and 2 pierced nipples to go with 2 pierced ears. I am also looking forward to doing a dragon tattoo on my back and arm. I have the design in mind and just need to put it all in a sketch. I'm looking for a medieval dragon design with a Celtic flair with a tail that runs down my arm. When I get it done, I'll probably post a picture on BME. Right now I'm still taking care of my Pegasus.
