I got my first piercing when I was 5. My ears. I remember looking up at the lady that pierced me in awe, she was heavily modified and beautiful. After having my first holes done I had to wait until I was 12 to get my second holes done, then 13 for my third holes. Then when I was 14 I was allowed to have my belly button pierced. When I got that done I felt like I needed more. But my parents were against the idea of allowing me to have any more piercing until I was 16.

I wanted them now. I discussed it with my best friend, she had also been thinking about getting her nipple pierced. We talked it over during lunch break and had everything sorted by the end of the day, the money, where we were getting it done and the excuses we would tell our parents. So later that day we ran down to the train station and changed in the toilets from school uniform to our own clothes, paid for our tickets and got on board the train.
We were really nervous and had taken some friends along for support. One of our other friends was going to get her lip pierced. We were all discussing what to get a hoop or a bar. I decided I was going to get a standard bar and my best friend was gong to get the standard hoop.
As the train approached the train station we were really anxious and were ready to walk back. But we had managed to get this far and we weren't going to back out now. It was a short walk to the studio, the same one where I had my belly button pierced, so I knew it was hygienic and the staff there were friendly. As we walked down the stairs into the studio it was quite empty. My heart was beating so fast and I just wanted to run out of there.
The man behind the counter asked us what we wanted. We both told him we wanted our nipples done, then he asked us to sign some legal forms and take a look at the jewellery. We both decided on a quite plain bar and hoop. We then paid our twenty pounds and waited for the artist to come out from the job he had just done.
When he came out he asked which one of us would be going first. My best friend was too scared to go first, she asked me to, so I could tell her what it was like. So I stepped behind the curtain, undid my top and bra and he proceeded to spray my nipple with some numbing spray, this made it feel all tingly and made my nipple erect. After he sprayed it with that he went to the tray and got the needle, by this point I was squeezing my friends hand so hard, I was shaking all over yet at the same time I managed to 'keep my cool' and ask the man loads of questions.
He said he had pierced his nipple himself and that it didn't hurt, this reassured me although at the same time made me think the man was a little crazy. He asked me to keep as still as I could, he pushed the needle through, screwed on the ball and I didn't feel a thing. He then bandaged me up and told me to leave it on there for at least an hour and clean it when I got home with salt water. I thanked him and next it was my best friends go. She gave a little yelp when hers was done. After ours was done we waited for our friend who was getting her lip done.
We all left there with big grins on our faces. We had done it. We walked down the street and back to the train station each talking about our experiences and showing it off to each other. It was a little painful on the train journey back when the train kept bouncing but we all just sat there nodding and laughing at each other. We knew we had to keep this a secret from our parents.
When I got it I took the bandage off and cleaned it with salt water, it stung at first but I managed to clean it completely, I cleaned it twice a day for the first 2 weeks and once a day after that. I also called my boyfriend and told him, he was a bit annoyed at first because I hadn't told him, but he slowly came round to the idea of it and when I showed him he was totally bemused with it. It gave off immense sensations when he played with it and still does.
I'm now currently under going a belly button project and I have many more piercing and tattoo ideas for the future. Needless to say my nipples are my favourite piercing so far and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone! :)
