I got my nipples pierced about four months ago. Here is how is started one morning I was sitting in class with my friend Ryan (a girl). She planned to get her nipples pierced for her 18th birthday.I did not believe her at first but about a week later she did it.

I thought it was a good idea and I had heard good things about it. So about a month and half later everyday I would go into my computer class and started looking up about nipple piercing. I ended up finding this web site and many others. I saw pictures on this web site and found pictures of how they do the piercing step by step. It looked painful in the picture just because there was blood. But I still wanted to do it.
One day I was at work and I was telling a guy friend about it and he told me I should talk to his girlfriend because she had her nipples pierced. So I did she said it didn't hurt at all that she had nipples pierced about two years ago and it still hurt a little and she gets crusts on them sometimes. I thought that was pretty gross. So me and her planned to go together. But I could not wait I had called up two of my girl friends Ashley and Erika (who was visiting from Island) to come with me. I was going to go to Jade Dragon in Chicago, but it was to far away. So we went walking around Boys Town because it was the day of the gay pride parade which made it even more exciting for me. We went to two different places before I found the right shop.Which was about two blocks south of Diversey. So all 3 of us went in and the guy doing the piercing was in a room with 2 girls with the door open because one of the girls just got finished getting their nipples pierced. He was really fri endly and told me I had nothing to worry about. So I had to wait about a 20-30 minutes. My friend Ashley was scared for me just because she had no piercing and was scared of pain. before it was my turn. Finally it was my turn and he explained everything to me and told me he was gonna to do the piercing in a 12 gauge. I said that was ok because I wanted the bigger ring.
So finally it was time when the first one went through in was kind of a shock I had gotten goss bumps on my arm. After the fist nipple was done he ask me if I wanted to wait a little longer I just told him no just get it over with. The second was in and done with in no time. It was great. After that he explained more to me about the after care. Then we left I went right to my boyfriends work and couldn't wait to tell him. I walked in and the first thing he said was "did you get it done?". He of course was very happy about it. So since he worked at the same place as me I had told the guy and the girl I work with about it and went around telling everyone I worked with. They were all very shocked I went through with it. The girl was a little sad cause she wanted to go with me and get it done. But I told her I couldn't wait and she understood.
I had planned not to tell my mother because I knew she would be mad. So that night I had told her I went with my "friend" to get her nipples pierced and I told her I wanted to get it done now. She just told me that she thought I would really regret getting them done. So about two days later I couldn't lie to her any more and when she picked me up from work she was on the phone with my aunt and I was just like I got them pierced. I told her while she was on the phone because I knew she wouldn't yell at me and maybe forget. But she never cared.
So now its four months later and Im doing great with them. They feel great and look great. I really love them.Yes I sometimes get the crusts on them and they hurt but hey it was a fun experience for me. So anyways who plans to get it done know what your getting yourself into. Really read up about it and know everything that will happen and really have fun with it.
