Wow I would of never thought that I would find myself in a piercing shop. The whole descion of getting pierced came after meeting my boyfriend and talking to him about it. I was already 18 so that wasn't a problem and Graduation had just came so money wasn't a problem. But I was worried that I am a single teen mother and people may judge me if I get any other piercings that are visible during daily actions. So that made the nipple piercing look even better.

The piercing studio is also downtown. My son was at the babysitters for the day so I decided to go and check out the pricing and to see if they even pierced nipples. So I went in to the shop looked around , very nice clean area. I talked to Joe(the piercer) and his assistant who was really nice. I asked about the piercing and the prices. $70 for both and that included 14 gauge CBR's and everything needed for aftercare. Before leaving , like a dumbass I asked Does it hurt? and his assistant told me that breastfeeding hurts more than getting pierced. I thought about having it done right then and there but I was nervous and thought I would wait. I left and went to pick my son up around 3.
Around 7 that night after my son went to bed I decided I would get pierced I was so excited about it. I called Joe , Knowing that he closed at 8 and asked if he would have time to pierce me tonight, He said sure. I knew there was no turning back on my way there since i had called him and told him I was coming in. I walked in there knowing that this would be the last time my nipples would be plain. I filled out the paperwork and gave her my drivers liscense to copy and paid up front. Next I had to pick out wether or not I wanted CBR's or barbells. I choose 14 gauge CBR's with hematite colored balls.
Joe had finished pulling the shades down around his working area and called me back there. Taking off my shirt was probably the hardest thing for me since no one but my boyfriend has seen me naked. He cleaned the area and began to mark them he measured the nipple to know where to put the marks. His marks were perfect on the first try which made me feel good. I then looked at the marks and gave him the go ahead. I sat in the chair and his assistant came in to help out.
He clamped the right nipple first. Everyone on here says the clamps hurt but I didnt find them to hurt at all. He told me to take a deep breath when i was ready and when I exhaled he would stick me.
So I take a breath and exhale and I feel a little burning sensation but not bad at all. I asked him when he was going to poke the needle through and he said already have. I looked down and saw the needle poked through the nipple. While he was putting the jewlery in I felt a little discomfort but that was it. He asked if i was ok to continue to the left one. I said of course. So breathe in and I exhaled again just the same feeling. I looked down and saw him put the ring through. Putting the captive beads in was a little discomfort too but thats all. The whole expierence is wonderful. I had no regrets about doing it at all.
So now that I had finished getting dressed Joe began talking to me making sure I was ok. He went over the aftercare instructions with me. Wash once daily, using the provon soap ( they give you a bottle of that) rotate the rings back and forth 10 times, Leave the soap in the piercing for 2-3 mins (may burn). Rinse out by rotating the rings 10 times. Use the Bactracin (they give it to you too) I was instructed to use it for the first 10 days. Today is my last day using it but you rotate it thourgh after you dry off. After I run out of the Provon I was instructed to use the gold dial to clean everyday.
His assistant came back in and handed me a pen with the name and address and phone number on it and my piercing card that has 2 stamps on it now, After the 5th one you get a free piercing, she also handed me the aftercare sheet. I then gathered up my stuff and left.
It has now been 10 days since my nipples have been pierced and I do not regret them at all. They are healing wonderful, I can pull on them slightly with no pain. The aftercare is going wonderful. I would really suggest anyone who is pondering this idea to get their nipples pierced to find a good and clean and friendly studio and to go for it. It is a beautiful piercing. I really enjoy mine and the boyfriend does too (He also has his done too). So go for it! Hope you have a happy piercing experince. I know I sure did.
