Over the years I had contemplated body piercing. I had a couple of tattoos in my early 20's, but body piercing was very extreme at the time, so I never did it. Now in my thirties, a housewife, mother of one, as a "proper" mom I felt the need to spice up myself. So on a whim, I told my husband I wanted to get my nipples pierced. He looked at me like I was nuts! This from a man who thinks anyone who volutarily sticks needles into one's body has got to be nuts! None the less, after thought, he really enjoyed the idea. He knew a girl who's boyfriend was a piercer in a town about 25 miles away. So out of the blue, he came home from work one night, and off we went to see the piercer! I was a little nervous, but knew that pain would be no problem. I had thouroughly enjoyed the tattoos!

Josh was very nice and professional. He explained everything to me and we walked back into his room. My husband looked a little nervous, he's faint around blood, and refused to watch childbirth, so I figured this was out of the question. I took my shirt off, a little strange with your husband in the room, and Josh washed my nipples and marked where he would insert the needle. He asked if it was alright, and I said yes. I was already excited and obviously my nipples were too, they were rock hard, begging for the needle. My husband smiled nervously, but I was absolutley pumped at the idea of having metal through my nipples. I layed back on the table for what felt like an hour while Josh prepared everything .He put the clamps on and told me exactly what he was going to do. Josh told me to take a couple of deep breaths and he would pierce on the exhale. I could feel the anticipation. A co uple of deep breaths and WOW!!!!! Pain, pleasure, and excitement all at the same time! I smiled at my husband, and couldn't wait for the next. The 14g curved barbell was inserted and the balls screwed on. I quivered thinking about the next needle. Again, WOW, what a rush! My second barbell was inserted. It was done! No Problem. The clamps were a little uncomfortable, but overall it's a great experience. I sat up grinning from ear to ear, my husband was grinning too, I'm not sure how much was disbelief, mostly turned on I think! They were BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I have very large breast but small nipples, now they stood up in salute!! I thanked Josh, gave him a $20 tip and walked out of the room on cloud 9. I couldn't wait until we could "try them out".
That night, I was a little tender, nothing worse than pms. For a couple of days all I could do was look in the mirror, did I really do that? Are they still there? I was facsinated. Now it's been 4 weeks, they are healing very nicely, and I LOVE them. My husband, well, let's just say he's very satisfied! I think the experience was very gratifying and I'm proud of them. A little discomfort is a very small price to pay for such a wonderful ornament. The best part is, anywhere I am, I can smile at the little secret beneath my shirt! The other advantage for me, is that my breasts are much perkier and firmer because of the piercings. I guess the blood flow has increased, causing them to become firmer.
If this is something anyone is considering, they must first ask themselves, how much pain can they stand, and what do you expect out of this. Don't kid yourself, the needle is painful, some people just have a higher tolerance. If you have extremely sensitive nipples, this is probably not for you. Also, you should consider if you will have children in the future. I'm not sure what effects if any pregnancy would have on them. I myself made the decision because I knew my child bearing days were over and this was for me. Find a profession piercer, look for a clean shop, and know what should happen. Know what the procedure is and what the dangers are beforehand. Educate yourself! Ok, enough of a mom's advice. Bottom line, I love my beautiful girls, it's a hell of an ego booster, and a painful pleasure. I enjoyed the piercing, and am still enjoying the after effects!!!!!!!
Now 4 weeks later, I have in addition to my nipples, a vertical clitoral hood piercing, and one week ago, I had my tounge pierced. HEHE! Ok, so I'm addicted, there are worse things!! I highly recommend Josh. He's an excellent profession piercer.
