Ever since I was little, I've been obsessed with piercings. I've always wanted to have the most interesting piercings. I was the first person in my school to get their tragus, plus I have more piercings than anyone [10 lobes ones a 8 g, a rook, a tragus, a cartilage, inner cartilage, a belly ring, and my tongue web]. My parents think I have too many and that I should stop, but I don't think that is going to happen any time soon. I decided after I turned 18, I was going to go to my biggest obsession: nipple rings. I think nipple rings are just extremely sexy on a guy or a girl. They are just...... uhhhh!

And for some reason I waited way to long. Anyways, I decided I was going to run off to Lola's one day before work. I've gotten almost all of my piercings there by either Dave or Randy, so I trust them with my nipple ring. When I got there, it was pretty packed. There were a ton of people looking at tattoo stuff and in line to get some tattoos. I really didn't want to wait, I just wanted to get it over with. Fortunately, Randy was sitting on the couch there; he wasn't doing anything. I told him I wanted my nipple and he took me into the back to get all ready. I know some women are weirded out by having a guy do their piercings, but its not like they've never seen any nipples before. Its just another piercing for them to do. Plus Randy is super cool and I trust him.
Now, in the little piercing area of Lola's, they have this awesome dentist-like chair that's covered with leopard print fabric. I swear, the chair helps take some of the nerves away. Why would anyone be nervous sitting in an awesome chair like that?! I sit in the chair to get comfortable when Randy asks me what size nipples I have, large or small. Personally, I have no clue. I was just like normal sized ones, I guess. He brought out all the really cool rings and stuff to pick from. I had my heart set on a CBR with a little gem, so that's exactly what I wanted, but I didn't know what size I wanted. I was thinking a 14 g and had one picked out, but when I showed Randy my nipple, he said it was bit on the small size and a 16 g would be better. And he also said it might hurt a little less.
There's a little office that is connected to the piercing room and for some reason today, they just had to be in and out of it [this isn't normal]. Randy wanted to wait till the busyness calmed down before I took my shirt off. "I don't want to give everyone a free peak show." Damn, I love Randy!
Finally, everyone just got their shit together and left the office. Randy asked which one [my left] and then marked my nipple. I okayed the placement and was ready. He clamped it, which I have to say is a really annoying kind of pain! It doesn't hurt, its just a pain in the ass! All of a sudden, I got really nervous. I *never * get nervous, so that said something. I was trying to calm myself down when all of a sudden, "In The Middle" by Jimmy Eats World comes on the stereo system. They are my favorite band and the fact they were playing calmed me down so much. Thank god.
Then the time had come to be pierced. He made me take in three deep breaths and on the third one, he pushed the needle through. I can't said it didn't hurt but then it really wasn't very painful. Its hard to describe, just like this split second pain and then just a mild heat. Randy was so surprised that I didn't even flinch. He said I was the first nipple he had done that didn't make any kind of move or sound. Go me!
He then put the ring in and then it started to bleed. A lot. I am naturally a big bleeder [each one of my piercings and my two tattoos bled like no tomorrow] so I wasn't really surprised. I just didn't want to be bleeding all over my shirt! It took forever to finally get the bleeding to subside and after, Randy still wanted to tape a paper towel over, just to make sure.
I paid and tipped him, even though he argued me giving him the tip. I said bye to everyone and thanks to Randy and then I made my way home. It really wasn't sore or even red. I went to work fine and to bed fine. It didn't hurt with or without a bra, so it was all good! It is healing so nicely and looks so awesome! I am so happy with my new bod mod!
